Which is blatantly illogical. Just as much so as if they did like us. We haven't done anything, good or bad, to the people of China. We just want that one province as a natural gateway into Russia, and as a strong Oriental base on the mainland (Korea, which is totally in the corner, isn't gonna do it.) We need a position of strength, and Manchuria gives us that. Pray do tell, why do you need it?

China is the Middle Kingdom, the land chosen by the heavens to be the bridge between the mortal earth and the spirit world, imagine the chaos that would ensue if a foreigner were to posses that sacred link! So, no, Japanese people can have Japan, they can have Korea, and they can have the non-Chinese lands to the North, they can have the Philippines, but they shall not expand their domain into Chinese lands, and if you do you might lose more than just our Manchuria.

But IRL I do recognize that being part of Egypt of course. And I fully admit I wasn't being reasonable in that game. I wasn't trying to be reasonable. I was roleplaying a fundie nation.

In this game, there IS no Chinese nation, there are many Chinese states. Manchuria is as much Japanese as it is belonging to anyone else in the Orient.

If the Oriental world would like to work these issues out, perhaps we should start a conference or something. I don't normally like to negotiate or get involved with stuff, but if it will avoid war and bloodshed, I'll do it. Maybe have someone neutral (Preferably a powerful country) that we all agree on come in and let us all present our case and announce a verdict. Heck, perhaps we should choose three nations, all from different continents not named Asia, and let them judge for us after letting us all present our cases.

If the nations of China are interested in this, or some other diplomatic method, let it be so.

It is not illogical in the historical perspective.. Japan spent years exploiting China, why do you think China and Japan don't get along too well in rl?

Germany is willing to mediate a peace treaty between Spain and Britain if both sides are willing to compromise..
