I'm not saying that it is purely a matter of choice.

I think it is likely that the strongest components are in some combination of genetics and environment. My assertion is that people do have some control over there sexuality and can consciously motivate there sexuality in one way or another.

Evidence of people doing this is found in prison where otherwise straight men engage seek sexual gratification from one another.

But those things usually at least symbolically represent the things they are attracted to, like rubber women. Or a man may use his imagination to conjure up images of the things he is attracted to while having sex with something he is not attracted to (like his hand).

Everyone cites the prison example, but I've often seen it said that rape is about violence and power more than it is about sex. Presumably prison rape is the same. Or are there actual consensual pairings between males who previously were avowed heterosexuals?

That is my understanding. I think this occurs most often where the sentences are lengthy like 15-25 years or so.

I don't.. How would I? I look at someone and I feel an attraction or I don't - how am I supposed to control that?

Power, need, urge... as long as its man on man sex for pleasure it's gay.

It seems as if each side is facing a brick wall of denial, so I'll just let this topic drop, but I still believe it's not gay.
