booooooring, my probably gay flatmate loves it though :(

I liked the movie enough to buy the DVD. I don't think it was the ground breaking film some have made it out to be but it was enjoyable.

I haven't watched that DVD in over a year so maybe I ought to pull it out again tonight.

hey it's fine, the entier point of the internet is to facilitate the creation of bandwagons. for instance, the whole chuck norris thing exploded in about 1 week, no lie.
I had The Delta Force on VHS, so nobody accuses me of hopping on bandwagons. :p

I haven't seen it. Another non-native (Brit but living in NJ) told me it stunk.

As for NJ, it doesn't have a bum rap. Haven't you guys ever seen Camden? Bleh! Worst crime in the country...

I simply want your opinion, prefeably with a bit of expanation. Personally, I love to watch the movie no matter how many times I see it. It's one of my favorites, along with Zoolander. So, I would most liely be leaning towards no.

I voted "yes", but then realized you were talking about the movie, not the state.

you know of a state called "Garden" ?!?

It's a good enough show. I'm a big Zach Braff fan anyway so I definatly wanted to see it. For some reason it was never shown in my local cinema. So I had to wait for the DVD

Oh cripes. I just voted strictly from the poll question before reading the first post. I thought it was a question about New Jersey. Voted no because I think it gets a bum rap most of the time, but I guess that's irrelevent since you weren't interested in THE Garden State.

Probably one of the few times we'll ever be on the same wavelength. :D

After watching the movie again for the first time in a year I can honestly say the music was top notch. A true Indie master piece. The storyline was itself was good but not original.

You're right. The official motto is "Liberty and Prosperity". It's nickname is "The Garden State". Much like my State's motto is "Salus populi suprema lex esto", but its nickname is "The Show Me State". The nicknames of States are frequently on their license plates.

George Carlin had a joke about it in one of his stand-up routines that went something like, "Garden State? Yeah, if you're growing smokestacks."

I haven't seen it, but I can surmise how crappy it is based on the disparate reviews.

Smart People, such as my sister: Pretentious arty tripe with a crappy ending.
Dumb people: Really awesome and deep.

I just saw it and it was awesome and deep. Oscar material for sure!

Never saw it, so Bob Dole gets my vote.
