PC doesnt have any kind of CD writer.

Yes. But it needs to be a special sort of USB cable. Network Connections is where to do the operating system configuration, if you tell us the operating systems we could probably be more specific.

And btw, wrong subforum. ;)

Just use a crossover [network] cable or a router/switch if you have one.
 
Can you use an iPod or something with a massive storage space to transfer the files?

Crossover is by far the best solution seeing as most modern pc's and notebooks have at least 1 ethernet port.
 
Use email or an online harddrive
 
If both computers have Bluetooth, you could transfer the folders you want via Bluetooth. It is rather slow if one has less than Bluetooth 2.0 though.

Better yet, just use the memory card in the camera to transfer them ;).

There's actually quite a wealth of possibilities here. Might've used a better method than USB flash drive if it had been here a year ago.
