Obviously fake. Anime features are non existance in nature. Unless it was a costume, then I'd probably wonder.

That pictures if pure fake. ( sorry, that is getting repetitive but i'm just trying to get thirty posts ;) )

Doing it this way will result in moderator actions PCRs and bannage. Be contributory, please.

(Yeah, I know this is a bit out of character for me to be so against spam, but I'm trying to catch Curt :p)

Although fake, I hope they modeled them after a real person, and if so, where would I meet her?

B is edited version to get it more real looking

Below the eyes, I think the person looks very realistic. Eyes and above still has some problems. :)

Thats impressive, Curt :)

Though, all CG gals I have seen seem cross-eyed. It is difficult to get the eyes to ook straight forward, i guess.

Here is a more advanced version from the same guys who made the headphones gal...!

THAT looks completely real

Maybe not completely real, but it's at a much higher standard than all of the others presented. Now the problem is the hair, which is too fuzzy. You can't follow individual strands. The eyes are also still too shiny.

If either of those Curt posted were posted in something other than the "real or fake" thread, no one would've noticed they weren't real.

And the technology is getting better on a weekly basis...

Imagine in ten years...We simply will not know a CG babe from the real!

:D

Don't get me wrong. I'm sure it will be better, but there will always be a difference between artificial and real.

I would say that the gap between CG characters and real actors will probably close from the other side, reaching a point where "real" actors are retouched in every frame to be more perfect as still photos are today.

It would probably be harder to make a CG photo resemble a snapshot than a fashoin or art shot.
