Edit: I meant to say: Isn't it dumb to show the attack result before the animation
One thing that bugs me about Civ4 is that when your attack a unit or city, it shows the result before the animation takes place. What's the point of watching the animation after you already know what happened? Couldn't the game designers have showed the animation and then the text result? Would that be so hard, or what is the point for the way it is now? On Civ3 battles, I liked the way you could see the health bars changing and thus how the battle was going.
