JalNES I: Quick and Easy

OOC: I protest this immediately jal! The thing about swiss and Malta at least!

EDIT: I changed my mind, would be amusing...

"If there were in the world today any large number of people who desired their own happiness more than they desired the unhappiness of others, we could have paradise in a few years."
-Bertrand Russell

Jal, what kind of consequences. As far as the people know, the Admiral died in his sleep at a ripe old age(seeing as he took over the island BEFORE this 50 year update, he would be around 70). And i'm sure that the people are really opposed to happiness being shoved upon them;)

OOC: It turns out that swiss didn't even read the update in detail... *sigh*

From Rome

We must firmly reject your offer. It is unacceptable. Have a good day.

OOC: I'm a skimmer okay. This changes nothing, except my bloodlust:p

That is unfortunate for you, and your people.

From: Trade Union

Agreed.

Lameness controls my life. NPC me. Very sorry.

What exactly are you protesting? He certainly has a right to take Malta. And given what I let Darkening do last turn, there's nothing wrong with his actions. Of course, he may not get off unscathed...

Seriously. I posted my orders thinking that Britannia couldn't see it, but sure enough, the NPC label was a lie. Ah well.

I will have my orders in by Wednesday evening at the earliest and probably Thursday as I'm going on a trip and will be back Wednesday evening. If thats not good enough, NPC me and do a damn good job of it. :p

Given the amount of orders I'm missing and those that I won't get for a while, I won't be able to start the update tomorrow. I won't be able to work on it much on Thursday or Friday, so I have no choice to postpone the update until after I get back--so 12/26-7 or thereabouts. :(

PLEASE get them in by that date, however...

You call losing a good chunk of eco, a fair bit of confidence, and other stats unscathed ;]? But, like Jal said, all orders should be pmed- not my fault you posted here and I really didn't read them except for the "invade Briton" part.

Actually, ~Darkening~'s orders, IIRC, didn't say anything about an invasion. I changed his scenarios quite a bit. He simply said that a Scottish warlord should sweep down from the north and unify the warring factions.

Well, stop being confused and send orders!

How can I when you keep confusing me!

*mutters about exposing the *true* evil intentions of a certain people*

Okay, yes, its fairly obvious his orders did not say invade Eirehann (as I think thats what you were talking about). However...

I really didn't read them except for the "invade Briton" part

Oh! Okay then! Everything is okay now! ... Thats the only part that was important. If Swiss had seen one line of my orders when I seized Andalusia, things would have gone very differently.

How could you not expect me to pull something like this? I mean, come on! Even I predected what I was about to do for once. And once again, it says for orders to be pmed........

Huh? Just what is the controversy here? You seized Andalusia why?

That was in reference to TNES, Az. I was just saying that Swiss knowing simply that I was going to invade him (Andalusia) would have possibly changed the war (i.e., allowed him to prepare some futile defenses and aggravate me for a few more turns :p <3 Swiss). I was saying thats basically what happened here: Darkening saw my orders and, even if he only read that I was invading, he still had an unfair advantage. Point is, while I believe it should have been announced that he was sending orders for Britannia so that I could send more comprehensive (and more importantly, different) orders, I should have PM'd the orders in the first place.

All that said, I patiently await the update.
