JalNES I: Quick and Easy

I burned down a city in your name and this is what I get? :p

1: Atyrian, the Broken Heart. From the Day it was founded, it been the beating heart that Drove the Atyrian Confederation, though it's Expansions, It's advancments through the ages, and it's prosperity in Trade. But it has Long Since Reached it's peak, and It's shine it now overshadowed by the Many Other Atyrian citys. the knowlage of Trombone, the Ships of Violin, the craftworks of Blera, the spirit of Guitar, the culture of Freina, and now, Constantinople, which is quickly becoming the heart of Atyrian Trade. It's greatness striped from it, It has but one claim left, that it is the fact it is the the Capital and namesake of the Atyrian Confediration. but even that might be striped in the near future, as the Tides of Atyrian Politics shift...

5: Trombone, the city of Youth. the Largest of the Atyrian cities, It is quickly Devlopping into a Centerpoint of Atryian Culture, Paving the Nations path into future, and is the forfront of Research. There is Always soemthign going on in this city. the most vissible of the recent Adations it a naval ard to the Docks, which the University Students have positivly been swarming over of late. the Exact Reasons Are of yet unknown, but what ever it is, it is bound to be something big..

2: Guitar, the city of Discordia. a revolution is under way, a Revolution of Belief. this former glorified Cattle market has recently taken on a new Sheen, as the Path of Discordia has takken root here. though little is known about this new Religion, It already has a strong frollowing here, and small pockets all over the empire.

3: Blera, City of Stone and Iron. a city of sharp lines, confusing paths, and of endless battle. the Heart and Soul of the Atyrian Millitary machine, It is here all Atyrian soldiers come to train, and It is here they come to improve their ways. In the Recent year, the Bondrys of the City have begun to shift, Polrizing into Two Smaller Cities, about three miles Apart. and between them, stands all Varitiy of Terrains. Form a massive stone wall, over forty feet tall, to Rolling, disused farmland. and it is here, the Soldiers come to Train. Red VS Blue, Defender VS Attacker, Seiger Vs. Besiger. here they fight, and hew the Plan. though all this work dose come at a Large Price to the Atyrian goverment, few Complain, for the Sucurity it insures, and the power it insures them, more then make up for it. and they need not look farther then the recent invasion of Bzyintime to see it.

4: Iggiland, The city of Horses. In Ages Past, This was but a small Outpost, Bearly Large enough to be considered a City. Now, It is Nearing It's peak of Prosperity. Though Horses Are now Extreamly Commen Across the Nation, it Is here the best of breeds are born, and it is here the Millitary Draws it's stock. But It has defently Reached it's peak. with Atyrian turning more and more towards the Sea, there is not much potintial in it's future.

7: Violin, City of ships. the Official Headquarters of the Atyrian Navy, It has grown and prospered with the Recent Attention the Atyrian have begun to pay toward the navy, Violin has begun to grown in Leaps an Bounds. though quite a few of the Docks and shipyards have been converted to civilian use and Leased to various Merchent Familys recently, the Navy Still owned them, and Is prepeared to put them back in use at a drop of a hat for their own use.

8: Vocal, city of Merchents. the un-offical HQ of the Atyrian merchent Fleet. while It's shipyards and Harbor is Actually slightly smaller then Violins.. but The amount of Traffic it recives is gownign every Year. It must Expand, or be choaked by it's own growth.

6: Freina, the City of Cannals, the Gem of Atyrian Culture. Over Twice the Size of the Other Atyrian Cites, and with Every Street built in practality and with gracfull lines. Interlaced with Cannals throughout the City, which are Connected to the Massive Cannal Network Sruonding it. these Canals are the life bloods, and the flavor of the city. And to Top it all off, the River it sits on is the route that Leads to Noricum.

9: Constantinople, City of Rebirth. razed by the League during the Bzynitime Withdrawal, It has risen once Again. The Atyrian have taken upon themselves to rebuild it to it's former glory.

10: Adrianople, The enigma. Captured in the War with Bzynitime, it has presented a puzzle to Antryian Planers and Merchents. Ill Positioned, and no outstanding atributes, they truly do not know what to do with it...

11: Jalapeno, City of Sand. the Newest of the Antryian citys, it was Established to take better advantage of the various trade routes. what the future holds for it, nobody knows.

Paradise Found

Dion was toppled. Well, actually as far as the public knew he had simply died. But those connected knew of the sacrifice they had pushed on him. A goblet of Conium maculatum, Poison Hemlock, brought about a new age for Malta, and the world.

Centuries ago, a footnote in history to say the least, a true utopian aspiring soceity rose up on a small island. But they were betrayed by Sumer, and only a few escaped to keep their religion alive. The Edenites spread their teachings of Earthly Paradise and Material Goods, of Personal Happiness and Liberty. They taught that this would lead them to an other worldly paradise.

Originally targeted at Sumer, their attempts at regicide always failed, their attempts at revolt as well. In a place as large as Sumer, there could be no Glorious Paradise. They required an island, an island of wealth, peace, and prosperity.

So the Diaspora began. The teachings found in the Book of Paradise and the Books of Eden and in the Teachings of the Perfect Ones were spread like wildfire throughout the successful areas of the Mediterranean. The cults were of small size in large countries, but in small islands their density would magnified greatly. And in an island as prolific and prosperous as Malta, their dreams would be realized.

When decades ago the Admiral Dion had lead them to victory and independence, he spoke of happiness for all and equality. He spoke of prosperity for their island people. This fueled the fires of the already growing Edenites in the region. They began to practice more openly, to preach in marketplaces and to hold sermons and gatherings in rich vineyards. And they began to whisper in the ear of Dion.

But Dion would have none of it. He was surrounded by Edenites but couldn't see its potential. He hung strongly to his old gods. So he was dispatched, and the Utopian Revolution took hold. The transition was seemless, as those in power consolidated it. And the support was there. The rest of the island began to convert. The earthly paradise began to take form.

OOC: I protest this immediately jal! The thing about swiss and Malta at least!

EDIT: I changed my mind, would be amusing...

What exactly are you protesting? He certainly has a right to take Malta. And given what I let Darkening do last turn, there's nothing wrong with his actions. Of course, he may not get off unscathed...

What? Another deadline? So sooon...I just barely got back :p
