JalNES I: Quick and Easy

I still remember the three Punic wars which need a true conclusion. Carthage would be back in a heart beat to reclaim the Empire and more. Also every person living on Sicily would be killed.

I still remember the Galloglach. :p

I still remember the fact that Carthage's last city was destroyed by Berber/Numidiian barbarians :p

The Galloglach... what made them so... Galloglachy Jal?

Eh. I don't see why everyone thought the Galloglach were so bad- I liked 'em :).

I still remember alex putting his nose in business it didn't belong :).

And the Carthagians lighting theirselves on fire ;).

I never do that. My nose belongs in any business I feel like putting it in to :p

Yes, I remember the Carthaginians lighting themselves on fire as well; very amusing.

I meant how some players love fighting wars but when they win they quit because they lose interest. They (looks at andis) anger me greatly, if you're going to quit after you win, why bother fighting?

Sometimes it's the journey that matters, not the destination. To me that's almost always the case :p

By Jove, burning Carthaginians are attacking! Run!!!
You snuck a peek at the introduction story to DaNES I that I've had for a good year and a half on my hard drive, haven't you? :p

The Galloglach... what made them so... Galloglachy Jal?

Maybe the fact that I modeled them off of janissaries and mentioned that fact that I was doing so in my unit description :p They were pretty cool. I should have just let them set up a military dictatorship and taken over the country with them. I considered it, but killing them gave me something to do. In the end, Irish wars went on for far too long in general.

I also remember the burning Carthaginians. It was probably my favourite moment in NESing history.

OOC: That's what I dislike. Who cares about the journey? It's the destination that matters; the ends justify the means ;)

The above is no way reflective of my NESing style.

Yeah, this is where I disagree with andis. I play for the long-term, possibly changing my goals along the way.

And some people wondered why I suddenly decided to eliminate him in LINESII :mischief:

I didn't wonder why, but I tend to be not too inquisitive in LINESII. Put it down to random or poor leadership.

Well, it was actually because I feared any one power dominating the northern region :p Of course that happened anyways...

Personally i think that's bit silly, what will you do when you ahcieve all your goals? I'd rather concentrate on having as much fun as possible on the way getting there, and if I in the end dont win, It's a pity but at least I had a good fight :)
