i dunno but it may be buggy i built a catapult thingy and my screen went haywire and started flashing colors and basicly it crapped out and froze while flashing colors


I know exactly what your saying, i had that happen to me when i first starting playing FfH1, and couldn't figure it out either, what Kael and I found out was it was the beginning of my graphics card going out, did they start to go black in areas?:cool: Or was it just the colors started going crazy, if its colors only then its the memory chips.:sad: But from what i understand if it froze then 95% of the time its a graphics card problem. My MOD has ALOT of high POLY count items and will take a lesser card to the limits. I think i went thru four of them and this one now is doing the black thing every once in a while also. Well thats what i figure out from what i have gone thru, let me know ok, thx. Could be as simple as you said just a buggy thing that just happened.:rolleyes:
 
Hey Strat. My main interest is in the GAME CONTEXT, writing, and connecting the elements into a history that enables the player to dive in. Im still learning XML so Im not gonna be much help there.

OK give me a better understanding what you are saying here, instead of Fire you'd say ____ clan, water, ___ clan. Religion to each ? unique building? traits, give me some examples , demons, angels etc, give me some examples of what you mean and it might come in handy, never know.;)
What exactly do you mean by "game context?", writing? give me some example, i am an example kind of guy ok thx.

dont have any issue with any otehr mod or game for that matter (except titans quest)parts got black things were blinking and looking all technocolor .. its very hard for me to describe because i never got that kind of a problem

Like i said that was exactly what happend to me, its the grapics card, the beginning of it going out, it will take awhile though, like i said also, the games that you play that this happens on have some units that have alot of HIGH poly counts units and will strain the card, mine took me like six months to finally give out. Also, it could be that your card is loose. Also i bet your machine is over three years old.;) Only thing to do is what i used to do, save the game where your at, do a restart and i bet the problem is gone at least for awhile.:p
I went thru 5 cards in 1 year. Some cards are bad right from the get go, i went thru three in one month once.
 
Has anyone that has been playing have any suggestions on adding to the tech tree,
i need ideas on almost everything in the game, units/civics/tech tree/balancing etc, dont be shy even if its just a little idea, post it, thx.
 
That would be difficult BloodyCelt, because number one I am currently not familiar with an XML command to put specific units with religions, but perhaps it can be done I admittedly havent messed with religions as of yet.

The tag that you need to look for in terms of religion would be <PrereqReligion>. You must have the religion in that tag to be able to build a unit of that type.
 
Fix for CvDawnOfMan and CvReligionScreen place both in Screens folder delete your CvDawnofMan version if you want these fix.

When you fix txt errors for Shinto Religion it will show up right with my CvReligionScreen fix for eight Religions.

OK, were finally over the big hurdle, 1000 downloads, thx to everyone for d/l'ing, in each change i made lately there are numerous changes that change the game drastically, so if you want anything at least uptodate re-d/l.

I still need ideas.
Need ideas on changing units to different civs, what would you prefer to better the game, etc, ideas, ideas, ideas.
Even if its just need the flavor of tech A to be 5 instead of 6 etc. Do you like the green water? ANd reason of course?
What would you like in the game? Taken out? Changed? and then the reason why?

Well a HUGE bug that should be fixed if it hasn't been in the last update is the Ninja's that conquer the cities automatically.

Here's how...you have a Ninja you click on the area after a city you want to conquer so that the track line goes through the city and let him walk. WALLA no matter how many people in that city they are all dead and the city is yours...AUTO conquer it is really annoying as my brother cheats all the time, where I have only done it a few times.
