Hard call between Jay and Conan. I think Conans a good comedian but Jay's wittier and his standup portion at the beginning is the best.

Jay was alright but the stuff he did always seemed a little....dare I say subpar. He was still funny, plus I think Conan is the best of the late night tv hosts, he deserves it.

I love alot of the Jay Leno's stuff, I've never heard any of Conans. So can't really comment on him.

Jay Leno's stand up sucks. It's too long and he makes jokes that are obvious and not funny. Conan is the only host that makes the guests interesting and actually worth watching. Also, Conan's segments are much better than any other late night show.

My favorite Jay Leno segment is Headlines. I'm gonna miss those. Fortunately, conan obrien does his own version, "Actual Items," which can be quite hilarious.

While Conan is better than Leno, he will not be as funny when he moves into Jay's spot. Letterman was a lot funnier when he had Conan's show, but moving up an hour means you trade-off some of the edgier (and funnier) material.

I used to watch Leno, but then I discovered the wonder of Dave Letterman and haven't gone back. Then I started staying up later and found Conan O'Brien who I feel is better than Letterman, but both are really great.
Maybe Letterman will retire before this so I won't have to choose
