JNES.N: New Times

From USSR
To Arabia:
We asked you for an alliance earlier, and got no response at all. Now we withdraw that request. Why? Simply because you are threatening to raise oil prices, and since our economy is still dependent on that if it could recover, we view this as an act of "peaceful hostility" towards us. Unless you and Sumeria end your threats to raise oil prices, we will back Britain in this affair.

To Britain:
We support you in this oil issue.

Jason, just in case (to speed up the update in case I have any connection problems), I will PM you the current military orders, though I need to know if Britain agrees. So use these if Britain agrees to the plan.

Britain was emerging from the war, she was emerging in precarious position. Especially the one in Sumeria that threatened to push the world into a sixth world war, sad sad thing. But we were doing this for the world, and would not be pushed into abandoning our duties to the world by Sumer.

The Prime Minister went before the country to tell them his plans for the next years.

"My fellow country men, we are entering a new age. In this new age we all want Britain to be a powerful and prideful nation. My plan for this is new time is in the children. We build new educational facilities for the little ones, giving them the education they need to lead our country in the future. This will bring a glory to our nation never felt before. When our children grow up, they will have the training to enter into any field they want, from farming, to the technology of the future.

Furthermore I hope to build trade relations with out neighbors such as France, and Denmark. Beyond that we will spread our partners to include those of Pacifica herself. We will together build a trade empire that wraps the enitre globe.

Together over the next ten years, we will make this country the strongest in the world!"

The Prime Minister stepped back from the podium and smiled hapily at the camera men, and went from there to meet with the rest of government on the issues now facing them.

NEWS

Tensions build in the Middle East as more and more countries jump behind Sumer and her demands for her oil fields back. Arabia, China, Madagascar, and Sinhala are behind her, Britain fears an attack will take place forcing us to leave the area and ruining the world's economy. Brittish troops head into the area preparing for an assault and the country says goodbye to her young men. Everyone prays for their safe return, but what will happen in that far away region? Not even this journalist can tell...

WORLD CUP
Madagascar is hosting the first world cup of recent times. But problems may arise as tensions rise, when Madagascar shows her support for Sumer. Will the Brittish players win the green field of football? We think our valiant boys can do the job!

To World
From Madagascar

In the International oil conflict, Madagascar takes the same stance as the other members of the Democratic Alliance, meaning Sinhala and Arabia. Any agression against these two countries will be considered an attack on Madagascar itself.

To Sinhala
From Madagascar

As you are the most powerful nation in the Democratic Alliance, Madagascar will stand by any stance you take in this matter. Oh, and if you could please just give a second vote for Israel's spot in the Democratic Alliance that would be nice... to make it official.

To Arabia
From Madagascar

Do you wish for Madagascaran peace-keepers?

Nope!

Israel will have our vote. And we thank you for supporting a mutual ally.

Prime Minister Sanjaya Kumari

To Sinhala
From Isreal

We thank you, we need all the help and support we can get to rebuild our country.

To Arabia
From Isreal

While we support you, at this time we can only offer diplomatic support as our military is hardly sufficent for self defense. Next year we will begin to buy your oil at a fair price.

To: USSR
From: Arabia

What threats? I have made not threats. As for your offer of alliance, we must have missed it (OOC: I was skimming through the thread, didn't see it). Again, where have we threatened to raise oil prices?

To: Israel
From: Arabia

If we can get out of this oil crisis, we will give you some money to help rebuild your nation. In addition, we thank you for your continued support.

To: Denmark, France, USSR, Spain
From: Arabia

We are sorry you do not care about whether or not some people are in poverty because of your greed. Of course you in Denmark and Spain wouldn't know because your Fascist states don't even care for their own people.

To: Madagascar, Sinhala
From: Arabia

We thank you for your support.

To: The World
From: Arabia

We are by no means threatening to raise oil. The difference between Britain and I is that while Britain has other means to keep up his economy, oil is virtually our sole moneymaker. If we are deprived of selling oil, our economy cannot function, while Britain's would take a little hit, but it would do fine. All we are asking is that Britain relinquish control of Sumerian oil fields so we can sell oil at regular (but cheap) prices. This is not an unreasonable request.

Mess with Arabia, u mess with China...

And for that, we give our eternal thanks.

It is tonight :p

From USSR
To Arabia:
Ah we apologize. We completely misinterpreted the entire situation. We will not support any military action Britain takes in the region and you have our backing.

To Britain:
Sorry, but we misinterpreted the situation. We do not wish for ill relations with you, but we can not support any military action you are planning to secure those oil fields for yourself.

To: USSR
From: Arabia

We thank you greatly. We retract our previous statements made towards you that weren't the kindest things we could have said. ;)

To Britain
From Greece

Greece does what is good for the nation. Cutting down high oil prices is very good for our nation and the people that serve it. We support your fight for lowering the price of oil.

To Sumer
From Greece

Your country is safe as long as oil prices are low.

OOC: Like I said before the story for this turn is almost done but I have 0 time to finish it. I'll post it later. I got my orders in thats all that matters. So expect two stories from me next turn

To:Canada
From:USSA
