Toku is at 23%, we are at 21% of total pop ~ i would say 1 and 2

Yup, we should now try and start to sour relations more btwn the others and Toku if we're gonna. The reason for "if" is our 3 defensive pacts. I'm not for sure, but i'm assuming the pacts should assure our votes.

if we have to, though, we should start the war shortly before finishing the UN. But, what are ya'll's thoughts on the war at all??

Basically, if our 3 Defensive Pact partners are all friendly, and not friendly with TOko (which they are not) then we get their vote automatically.

So we just need to make sure that they are, and that the total population of ourselves and our allies is 50%

If anything, we should do our best to woo Monty away. But I think we're golden.

Got the save. Will play (and try not to screw it up) tonight.

unless you start a war w/everyone EXCEPT toku, then we'll be okay. I think it's all over but enter pressing.

MM in Paris: Scientist -> Engineer (hoping for a Great Engineer to speed building UN when the time comes.)
Maintenance on Delphi (13), Avignon (10) and Grenoble (7) is hurting. We need to build some Courthouses there.
MM shaved a turn off Electricity (now in 18) and increase income to +24 at 50%

End Turn Summary
Electricity now in 5. Economy at 60% (+22).
Great Leader will be produced in Paris in 4 turns: odds: 34% Engineer, 33% Scientist, 17% Artist or Merchant
Relations with Monty now +5. His relations with Toku are also +5, but he is Friendly with Toku and only Cautious with us. Curious...

Noticed that Rheims could build the Statue of Liberty in ~ 39 turns. (If we had Copper, it would take less.) +1 specialist/city wouldn't be a bad thing.

Here's the save...
