??? oh, you mean cutting between amazon and ebay? Well kinda, but i have money saved up, aswell as student loans etc. Its a big amount for me in my curent situation (thats like 7 weeks food!) BUT i figured its so damn cool, it will stop me pineing for a car (which would cost loads more) and really is my ultimate bmx bike

Getting a bicycle instead of driving will always be the intelligent choice.

7 weeks food! Woah. I support 3 on about £45 a week, so it's about the same for me.

Of course, I just spent about £30 on a buspass for one month, so if you look at it that way, you'll have it paid off in 10 months.

I bought a second hand bike on a pawn shop for $50. :D
It is similar to yours, though maybe not as good as yours, I do not know much about bikes.

My uncle found my bike in a dump.
It's in great condition, wicked old (1960's?) and free.

pwn3d.

Upgrading a computer helps you think that you're somewhere else.

Upgrading a bike gets you somewhere else!

Just how much of your student loans are you actually spending on stuff you need? such as food etc :p

I bike gets you injuries when it crashes, a computer just gives you a major letdown and possible migraines when it crashes.

And I am somewheres else when I have a top of the line computer.

A bike gets me somewhere at the expense of much energy, energy that could have been much better spent arguing such petty arguements as we are having right now (I can have this arguement as I drove to school today).

But, just to placate you (and since I'm logging off), nice bike :goodjob: .

I wouldnt ride a bike as my main means of transportation unless i was in a very crowded city where traffic was always bad. The exercise you get on a back is nothing compared to jogging or running for less amount of time. Also if your more interested in getting excercise and staying healthy just riding a bike isnt enough. I lift weights and run on the treadmill every day. Running burns a lot more calories (A lot lot more) then biking.
Besides nothing beats owning your own car. :p

Nice bike.

That is one sweet bike.
Weld on another story to it!

Well its a good sorce for transportation, I guess. I would have gone for a moter scooter.:D

I have a friend that (when Katrina hit Hattiesburg) broke his bike when he had to throw it over a tree to get past.

This bike got stolen the second time i rode it to uni  Some BA***RD cut the chain...
