Kanye West knows he did something very wrong when...

I never meant to hurt you.

I'm at the library (well parking lot in my car), the wireless internet cut out (evidently after my post went thru but I didn't know that) then my GF called & I just hit "post" again & I saw I already posted & then I saw your VRWC thing but couldn't think of anything witty to say to it. :(

He should he is one, he's no better than the rest of us, do not belive for one second he does not say what he feels. Even Jesus did that.

Jesus was obnoxious?

Of course, he killed fig trees, disturbed the peace & acted generally pretentious & holier than thou.

He should resurrect again though & strike vengeance on the banking industry! If a few moneylenders in the church pissed him off so he should be good & heated now.

Alright, here I suggest that there is a specific series of facts about the man in question that are likely to lead someone to believe that Mr. Wilson is a racist.

And if the fact that someone is either Southern, white (ESPECIALLY THIS ONE), or a Republican leads you to the accusation of racism then you are by definition a bigot.

You seem to think I called you a bigot, which I did not, as would be evident in my comment "Yes, such people are in fact bigots as you suggest." I called people who would identify the traits of Southern, white, and Republican as automatic racist (people you specifically excluded yourself from) bigots. Which they are, clearly.

You seem to be the victim of a persecution complex, you were never accused of being anything by me in that post. I can explain this to you again if you are still having problems with it.

You were supposed to be a SECRET agent...
I'm like the Babelfish. By telling everyone I'm an agent, they'll assume I'm kidding, and never actually suspect that I'm telling the truth. After all, no-one from the right-wing ever tells the truth, which makes honesty great camouflage.

So you did. My sincerest apologies, I was very tired last night.

Ow.. First accused for being a gay fish and now this. Kanye's future isn't very bright now.

I love how on every forum that this has been mentioned on, the gay fish thing is mentioned.

He was human. People are obnoxious sometimes. Maybe jesus not as much as others but if he was I bet he could hold his own. If he was alive today I wonder if he would not go crazy, I mean where would he start to get people back on the road to gospel. He would need several million apostles, 12 would not cut it.

I thought it was great. Obama had a "Reaganesque" moment where the working classes will identify with his feelings on the issue. I'm sure it was not meant to be a political move, but I think it humanizes him.

Great!:goodjob:

This. However - based on my interactions with people. There does seem to be a fringe of people who think what Obama did is part of a bigger picture that they don't like - that Obama puts his opinion in pretty much anything and taking sides.

The only time Reagan ever identified with the working class was in Cowboy From Brooklyn.

I think that is okay...it could backfire on him from time to time but I do like to see a President that doesn't really care if he offends with his stances. Shows balls (in layman's terms).

Maybe you weren't around back then...but Reagan built a coalition of "Reagan Democrats", who were mostly blue-collar which catapulted him into the WH for two easy election cycles. So....yeah.....obviously the working classes identified with him. In fact, the left has tried so hard since to emulate his successes with this crowd, to only partial success.
