Kanye West knows he did something very wrong when...

Read my post again. I didn't say that.

Yes you did, if you can't see that I suggest you look up the word "biggot"

It was Hank Johnson, just looked it up

And that my friends, was a US Congressman. I challege anyone here to produce a Republican Congressmen of the last decade in either house saying something even remotely as manipulative, disgraceful, illogical, and down right ******** as what Hank Johnson says in that video. Honestly, how the hell is Wilson even on the news with gems like that out there?

To be fair, Johnson is a lot more reasonable that McKinney was. He isn't a 9/11 Truther who received a large portion of his campaign contributions from Arab sheiks who also donated to terrorist organizations. Johnson actually got quite a bit of Republican support, crossing over to vote against McKinney in his first democratic primary.

Not that it is at all that relevant, but his local office (one of them, he has one is the extremely left leaning and almost entirely black southern half of the district, which is also McKinney cared about, as well as in the more diverse and moderate northern half where my family lives) is on the same hall of the same floor of the same building as by father's. In fact, they share the same thermostat, and Johnson's assistants have refused requests not to keep the place over 80 degrees in the winter.

I thought it was great. Obama had a "Reaganesque" moment where the working classes will identify with his feelings on the issue. I'm sure it was not meant to be a political move, but I think it humanizes him.

Great!:goodjob:

what is the story here? a guy calls somebody a douche for being a douche when asked what he thinks of a very douchy moment in which said douche acted like a douche. stop the press!

oh, wait. Obama said it. of course it is an issue...

I agree with Obama in what he said, this thread isn't breaking news but its something to read I guess, I dunno:)

I'll believe this when I see it on not-Fox News.

Also, nobody cares. I hate both Kanye West and Taylor Swift and their awful "music".

I don't think it's a conspiracy, I just would like some verification ;)

Let me ask...How many times do you have to verify a foxnews story with another network before you finally figure out that Foxnews is indeed legitimate?

Cause if you cared to look its all over the place.

Fox News is a news source that contains actual news.

Sure there is bias in it, but what news source doesn't have bias?

This article is for real, Obama called Kanye West a jackass. If you want a non Fox News source I suggest you look for something that you trust more.(Not trying to be rude.) Even though on a article like this, the point is kind of moot. This is because they would all say the same thing basically, that Obama called Kanye West a jackass, and that is all there really is to the point.

Did you fail elementary school English or something?

Let's run through my post again together, so you don't misunderstand again. Comprende?

I'm sure the whole "southern white republican" fact is running through people's minds.

Alright, here I suggest that there is a specific series of facts about the man in question that are likely to lead someone to believe that Mr. Wilson is a racist. I made the objective statement that he is 1.) from the South, 2.) Caucasian, and 3.) Republican. Given the conservativism that generally trademarks Republicans, and the history of Caucasians living in the American South, it is possible for someone to draw the conclusion that a bearer of such attributes might have certain prejudices, based on historical perspectives. However, as you will note, I never said I agreed with these conclusions. Let's move on to my next statement, which can help us quantify this further:

Not mine, I just think he's a loudmouthed demagogic reactionary,

Here I make very clear that the previously stated conclusions regarding Mr. Wilson's race, origin, and politics are not something I agree with. You can see this by the words "not mine" where "mine" refers to the previous noun "mind" in the sentence before. Thus, my mind is not the same as the minds of the people who would agree that the circumstances previously described would make Mr. Wilson racist. If we move on to the next part of the sentence, my opinion, my "mind," if you will, is made very clear, and is distinctly separated from the previously described "mind" by the word "just," which means that nothing else other than what is stated is to be attributed to me or my "mind."

And now, the rest of the sentence, which ties the whole thing together.

but I can see where people might assume such things, despite a lack of proof.

See now, here I make two very important statements which absolutely describe why I made my two previous statements. The first part, "but I can see why people might assume such things," is a direct indictment of the people who would draw the conclusion that Mr. Wilson is racist based on the flimsy circumstantial evidence I enumerated in the first sentence, about his race, origin, et al. It makes clear that, while I do not believe such things, the ability of lesser-minded or careless people to look at such evidence and draw the conclusion that Mr. Wilson is racist are indeed possible, and I believe that such allegations against Mr. Wilson probably ultimately derive from the assumptions already elaborated upon. The last part of the sentence, "despite a lack of evidence," is simply another drop of proof that I do not agree with the first sentence I wrote, seeing as it would hardly suit me to draw conclusions with the full awareness that the conclusions I draw have no evidence. So, unless I am entirely irrational, I would not draw those conclusions. Given the previous parts of the sentence, the conclusion can be drawn that I most definitely do not agree with the first sentence I wrote.

Now stop slandering me, stop deliberately misinterpreting my posts, stop deliberately misrepresenting my positions, and stop flaming me.

Apparently Wilson also yelled out at Obama the other day because he is a racist too. There can be no other explaination right? Right?

Seriously, I just listened to an audio montage of about 30 prime time pundits claim that.

I suppose he could'nt just say something because he did'nt like him. I suppose rascism is always the answer. I guess he could be rascist against half of him. But he would have to like the white half just a little, right? So I they this, I do not agree it was because of rascism. It was stupid but not rascist.

Barack Obama doesn't care about obnoxious people.

Cleo

He should he is one, he's no better than the rest of us, do not belive for one second he does not say what he feels. Even Jesus did that.

I heard a democrat today say that maybe we'll have people in white sheets running around again. Something like that.

It was Hank Johnson, just looked it up:

Talking about using racism as a political tool! Like I said, we are going to be hearing cries of racism straight through the next presidential election.

(most people, on both sides of the aisle, do not agree with this idiot, but that's not gonna stop future idiots from saying the same sorts of things).

Looks like the race has really started from a non-issue.

I didn't need Obama to tell me that. Also Sharwood is back!!!!!!!!!! [dance]
Actually, I'm just part of the vast right-wing conspiracy, making you all think Sharwood's back.

double post
That's quite the double post there! 11 minutes apart! What the hell?

Then the ninja edit to make my post pointless. Well done!
