Kerch strait crisis

Both Russia and USA possess biological weapons, as far as I know. I wouldn't be surprised if they use foreign laboratories for development. What's so crazy about it?
She lives near San Francisco. It's quite understandable that she knows English well.
foreign laboratory in Georgia, prime goal: to make mosquitoes that will bite Russians
proof 1: guy with glasses: I've been there seen it all, just trust me on this
proof 2: ex-soviet Georgian governor, living in Russia, waving some papers around, "proofs" he says (plot twist: we don't get to see the proofs)

what's more likely, actual military laboratory, or fake news to force citizens into thinking that everyone around them are enemyes and only one protecting them is good ol Putin, it's no brainer if you ask me

you seem to know Amanda personally

Decision to engage in military conflict can't be made without commander in chief.

Convenient position. I stated my facts, that the conflict started in 1990-s, when Georgia got independence from USSR but didn't allow Ossetians to secede.

Putin could have skyped in for all I know

do you really want to talk about the 90s? you don't seem to have any information about the conflicts

Mosquitoes biting Russians sounds pretty stupid, but the only person who said it here, was you.

No, I merely watched that video from Fox News. And listened to the anchor.

do you really want to talk about the 90s?
Yeah, I wouldn't mind.
Why Georgia and Ukraine separation from USSR was a good thing, but when Ossetians or Crimeans want to secede, it's suddenly a crime.

both links that I provided sayed that they were using mosquitoes as biological weapons and this weapon was for an attack (on Russia)

on what grounds do you ask this question? it is very vague
do you mean morall or legal rights (it is very important and i'll answer it accordingly)

Ok, if the news were about Russia developing biological weapons somewhere on Cuba, using mosquitoes, would that sound ridiculous to you?

Is it morally wrong to let Ossetians secede from Georgia? They seem to be not a big fans of living with you in one country.

Yes...
Is it morally wrong to let Ossetians secede from Georgia? They seem to be not a big fans of living with you in one country
1) many Ossetians still live in Georgia
2) there lived more ethnic Georgians in Tskhinvali region than ethnic Ossetians (before 2008 war)
3) if we talk about morallity we have to say that this region is historically Georgian land (it is on the other side of the mountain for gods sake, only geographical connection to the Russian Ossetia being Roki tunnel)

I don't think this is something unbelievable. USA and Russia have biological weapons, quite possibly both countries continue their development. I can easily imagine foreign labs to be used for some activities like gathering samples and whatnot. Of course TV reports can be sensationalist sometimes.

In 1989, there were 28.9% of Georgians in South Ossetia, and 66.2% Ossetians.
If it's "historically Georgian land", the only question is what you propose to do with Ossetians who don't want it to be Georgian.

I just found it really funny, at the end of the day it's plausable but looks more like conspiracy theory that self respecting federal channels shouldn't be concerned about
(like Ren TV and their reptiloids :) )

well, independence isn't an option because it's landlocked territory (or should I say Georgialocked) and can't survive on it's own, It's either being part of Georgia or Russia
so in morality stand point it looks like this: some Russian citizens want to separete Georgian land and become part of Russia.
what is Tskhinvali today? a big military base, people are massmigranting from this "state" into north, only 50.000 people currently live there
Russia is unable and unwilling to develope this region it throws billions of Rubles at them but it goes down in corrupt officials pockets, self proclaimed goverment is a joke and have no say in their affairs.
What have these people won from "independence"? they are better off with Georgia.

Landlocked countries can't survive on their own? There are dozens of them in the world, including small ones.

they are better off with Georgia.
Most of them don't think so. Something made them hate Georgia and Georgians and get Russian passports at first opportunity.

being lanlocked is one thing, but being fully surrounded by a country your hostile with is another, independence is not an option even their ultra-nationalists know that
Most of them don't think so. Something made them hate Georgia and Georgians and get Russian passports at first opportunity.
I don't think they got Russian passports because they hate Georgia, as a Georgian citizen you need a Visa to cross Russian borders, so the Russian passport would give them lots of opportunities at the time Georgia couldn't provide

as I sayed before this region has no future with Russia and many people (Georgians as well as Ossetians) will suffer for Russian geo-political gains

so , since Monday , on an entirely unrelated to each other kind of way

the whole city has been laughing at me . But , no . They have no idea on who is my favourite Hungarian mech driver .

they discovered 3 dead bodies on the border with Greece . Typically lost their money and cellphones while in Greek custody , not for the monetary gain but so that they can't get much of an help this side to try crossing again . In underwear alone , when it goes 6 Centigrades below . Well , we have no need for reasons to fight the Greeks , now that they are simply there already and no need to determine the degree of Fascism in Chipras now that he is quite successful in converting his fame from youth to manage the post 2008 Greece and yes , New Turkey has been busy giving islands to them . The secretary for Tourism in the palace cabinet still runs his company as a tour operator and he is offering a cruise to one of the occupied islands , so that's like more than enough to topple goverments in lesser countries like Germany or UK or India .

the former pinnacle of Yellow Journalism in Turkey has additional info on Hıncal Uluç , naming him for those who wouldn't know , as the editor of "For Men" . The one Hefner's lawyers came Santa Turgut's Turkey to close down . We learn -without much of a clue of the columnist's point of view- that Uluç also started "For Women" , some Vogue or Elle which had nowhere the number of sales of the previous . And feminist women in the media , because Uluç was a sexist pig , started a magazine . Take Heffner's , loose the boy , add girl . Buying a licence , actually . And it totally tanked , only bought by "not-heterosexual males" . You know , only proves the high standarts of hypocracy in the Turkish Media since time immemorial . As the girl thing was brand famous in the gay community , and it would readily stigmatize the buyer , only those who were already marked could have it and this being Turkey they could work only in selling themselves . No money for glossy magazines . Plus might hurt the feelings of their possible benefactors . Who would be more likely to be village owners or drug runners from the East , or old fat business owners from the West , who could not be expected to compete from South Californian surf dudes or whatever . And yeah , none of the feminist women actually went to court to clear the slur against their name .

american lawmakers want a NATO fleet to challenge the Russian aggression , which will be like impossible under 1936 terms . New Turkey says it wants no trouble in this regard . While some State Department guy Jeffrees (who is known to be the best pal the A-K-P had while he was the Colonial Governor in Ankara) says the Iran-Russia-New Turkey about Syria has failed , some fighting might erupt . Hence we also learn an under 500 kilometers range Russian thing might go longer if launched from a different TEL truck . ı don't know , it just came to me , some New Turkey smarty bragging on TV that a New Turkey F-16 can reach Rome of Italy in 15 minutes , like a couple of years back . Out with the ruler and the school book map and no Starfleet "Fighting Falcon" can manage the like 1300 from Bandırma/Balıkesir in a quarter of an hour , being 5200 kph or so , even with plasma . Something the Americans did not invent yet and hence doesn't exist . Chinese "SSM" like bought in the general re-armament to defend the Saudis in the forthcoming war against Iran .

to top it , Voice of Russia reports on one Pamela Anderson that surprised her twitter followers with stuff about Parisian disturbances as some Marxist philosopher or whatever .

yeah , just another Groundhog Monday or whatever the movie was named .

once again totally unrelated :

brickhead of the former pinnacle of Yellow Journalism in Turkey says Congregation use a lot of people who claim to be Kemalist , which is indeed very true .

the newspaper has the secretary for tourism of the palace cabinet on the front page . He says New Turkey is a plane on the runway and those who do not join will wave their hands and be left behind to remember their old days and do nothing else . Now that they can't cover the arrest of the MP for seperatists now sent to jail . Not when his working partner during the talks leading to the Peace Process has just briefed the US senators on the evil murder of Mr. Kaşıkçı in D.C. , being the head of the so called national intelligence . And not implying they are cowards or something , the Party can always prove them to be Congregation stay-behinds ; 1984 and all .

so , the former editor of the pinnacle is proven wrong . Hınçal Uluç did not start the "For Women" which outsold the "For Men" in ridicolous numbers . Might as well prove the allegations (what they might be) are wrong . Well , the entire saga of magazines' history in Turkey was simply an example of hypocracy , which is being shown in the Ukraine vs Russia affair , by like , everyone . Nobody in NATO seems to remember they pushed the Ukranians into the rift and when Little Green Men appeared , the only thing the Ukranians could was marching their outnumbered , outgunned troops in the Peninsula march with Soviet Banners . That whatever applied to Russians applied them , too . As such ı didn't say anything like Uluç brought in the European mags or was even writing the fantasy pages himself . Not even implied what business he has like running a Party newspaper . The Party has 70 or 90% of the media , disregarding the fake news types and all the effort requires lots of warm bodies . And of course there is always Engin Ardıç , to talk of hypocracy , who needed like tons of guards in the 1980s as he was so much "insulting" to the "Muslims" ; as Americans know well , one can always find God later and convert the fame to attack Kemalists and stuff during the Ergenekon Conspiracy , even if ı will be like honest and say he was attacking the Kemalists at the same time , too and covering himself with partaking in Ali Ceviz Hududi and the like , some funny mockery about Santa Turgut .

ı don't have an Hungarian lover of any sorts . My favourite Hungarian mech driver is like a stevedore or whatever that word is . Somewhat dimwit , which then leads me having a soft spot , myself being an idiot . And of course , Soros messing with you seems to be a rite of passage . Hence , Bibi from Tel Aviv (who has been following the Israeli Prime Ministerial traditons of Corruption and under investigation) starts a war in Lebanon or something as Qatar needed an uplift for paying to Gazze and America made Israel agree and stuff . So , Bibi says Soros conspires against him , with lies about corruption ! Yes , my very post (at the site where ı was called a clunk before Georgia) involved a passage about how George Soros would fit in the handkerchief pocket of people like Henry Ford or Howard Hughes . With starting the whole Nazi thing to get rid of Commies .

which is so big a thing that explains Lend-Lease . America helping the enemies of Adolf would never pass the US Congress and the like , if it wasn't a straight trade , stuff to be bought on full prices at the end of the war . So , this Kemalist channel is wrong in claiming America robbed us in 1946 , getting money for old material . The British could not buy American planes , so they dumped hundreds of very good Corsairs and Hellcats off their carriers . Hell , Americans bulldozed 1500 planes to the ground in one single airbase in Indonesia , because they couldn't pay for flying them back to States . Which explains a bit of the Indenosian Independence as the Dutch were hoping to salvage , say , a 10% ... No surprise in Marshall Aid treaty involving a clause in fully propagandizing that it was good old America that was sending it . Now that Stalin pointblank refused to do so , but might like some . The interesting one is from 1948 where we are supposed to produce whatever America wants and sell it only to US . No doubt involves dried grapes and nothing like water cooled nuclear fission units for American vessels . The previous edition of Starfleet was somewhat more famous as the "Çekoslavak Bahriyesi" and stuff .

as the link above points out , America might send a ship and two more frigates are expected from the rest of NATO . Nusra has captured a village in Idlip , Syrians are shelling places . Jeffrey is the name of the former Colonial Governor , and let me see , what's left ? Oh , increasing friendship with Venezuella . As America the Imperialist wants to corner the Oil and Drug Trade , as some guest to the Voice of Russia clearly says , New Turkey could think of having a military base up there ... A Naval one maybe . So that the frigate New Turkey sends to NATO patrol in the North Atlantic could could dock there a couple of times each year . Think of the money that can be stocked in one , think of laundering for the entire Colombian Cartels . Just as a coincidence , another 6 months added to "fiscal peace" where you can bring in money from abroad with no questions asked . ı have lectured cadets under the light of a different star ; have witnessed the dawn of binaries on a desert planet while "inspecting" the base commanded by a Klingon Spacemarine chick date ; why do ı lack such strategic vision ?

Stalin time bombs in Karlingrad, Transnistria and South Ossetia the problem is these are almostly completely surrounded by now rather paranoid and no longer neutral countries
I wonder what made all the surrounding countries hate Russian and Ivan, All trying to get into the EU, and NATO alliance ?

You can see what is happen with Yanks America first policy and the idiot in charge gaslighting of allies. Yet you seems unable or unwilling to see Russians own identical policies.

You read Aktchually's post, but didn't look at the map. South Ossetia is not an enclave, it borders with Russia, hence its inability to be independent is more a wishful thinking. It's an example of a weak country afraid of its stronger neighbor and seeking Russia's protection.

I wonder what made all the surrounding countries hate Russian and Ivan
Georgia and Ukraine yes, who except them?
Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia are allies. Who else, China, Turkey, Finland, Japan, Iran, Mongolia? North Korea may be?

Yet you seems unable or unwilling to see Russians own identical policies.
US policies towards allies may be wrong, but it's not gaslighting. Neither Russian policies are. But feel free to explain what you mean.

The United States no longer possess chemical or biological weapons. Nixon ordered the end of the biological program and the destruction of all weapons which was carried out quickly. HW Bush ordered the end of the chemical program and the stockpile destruction is ongoing. My father actually worked at Johnston Island for a year (an atoll in the pacific) where his job was to incinerate the weapons. They also disposed of the weapons of other nations - going all the way back to Japanese WWII stockpiles and found weapons.

President Richard M. Nixon issued his "Statement on Chemical and Biological Defense Policies and Programs" on November 25, 1969 in a speech from Fort Detrick.[25] The statement ended, unconditionally, all U.S. offensive biological weapons programs.[26] Nixon noted that biological weapons were unreliable[26] and stated:[25]

The United States shall renounce the use of lethal biological agents and weapons, and all other methods of biological warfare. The United States will confine its biological research to defensive measures such as immunization and safety measures.

In his speech Nixon called his move "unprecedented"; and it was in fact the first review of the U.S. biological warfare program since 1954.[27] Despite the lack of review, the biological warfare program had increased in cost and size since 1961; when Nixon ended the program the budget was $300 million annually.[27][28] Nixon's statement confined all biological weapons research to defensive-only and ordered the destruction of the existing U.S. biological arsenal.[29]

U.S. biological weapons stocks were destroyed over the next few years. A $12 million disposal plan was undertaken at Pine Bluff Arsenal,[30] where all U.S. anti-personnel biological agents were stored.[29] That plan was completed in May 1972 and included decontamination of facilities at Pine Bluff.[29][30] Other agents, including anti-crop agents such as wheat stem rust, were stored at Beale Air Force Base and Rocky Mountain Arsenal.[29] These anti-crop agents, along with agents at Fort Detrick used for research purposes were destroyed in March 1973.

Spoiler Chem Source :
In May 1991, President George H.W. Bush unilaterally committed the United States to destroying all chemical weapons and renounced the right to chemical weapon retaliation. In 1993, the United States signed the Chemical Weapons Convention, which required the destruction of all chemical weapon agents, dispersal systems, and chemical weapons production facilities by April 2012. The U.S. prohibition on the transport of chemical weapons has meant that destruction facilities had to be constructed at each of the U.S.'s nine storage facilities. The U.S. met the first three of the treaty's four deadlines, destroying 45% of its stockpile of chemical weapons by 2007. By January 2012, the final treaty deadline, the United States had destroyed 89.75% of the original stockpile.[14] Complete destruction was not expected until 2023.

A policy of 'calculated ambiguity' warns of an “overwhelming and devastating” response in the event of CBW (chemical or biological weapons) being used against the United States or its allies.[15]

There have been reports of improper use of white phosphorous and tear gas in combat in Afghanistan and Iraq but that pales in comparison to the use of 'real' chemical weapons.

I'm by no means a specialist in this field, but your first link says USA destroyed 90% of its chemical weapons and complete disposal not expected until 2023.
And the second link contains reference to ongoing bio-defense program:
Both the U.S. bio-weapons ban and the Biological Weapons Convention restricted any work in the area of biological warfare to defensive in nature. In reality, this gives BWC member-states wide latitude to conduct biological weapons research because the BWC contains no provisions for monitoring or enforcement.[70][71] The treaty, essentially, is a gentlemen's agreement amongst members backed by the long-prevailing thought that biological warfare should not be used in battle.[70]

We are all gentlemen, aren't we? :)

Relevant words highlighted. The remaining chemical stock pile isn't yet fully destroyed but it's not going to be deployed and you know it. It's still in the process of incineration which is not an easy or safe process - especially compared to how much of it there was to begin with.

And defense =/= weapons.

I'm not whitewashing for this corrupt administration and our bloated defense apparatus. Just correcting gross exaggerations.

Ok, but what exaggerations are you talking about? I didn't mention US chemical weapons program at all.
As for bio-weapons, I only said that both US and Russia probably do research in this field.
Defensive by nature, of course, as our governments declare. They would never lie to us and develop something secretly!
