I don't see a Temple of Saturn on the buildings list...

Also, are we allowed to partially build a building, then finish the next turn (like the bill says)?

Signed by me too

That temple is where Rome banked its money.
Thanks ekolite :) you know for what.

ooc: Do we send any order this turn?

Province of Transalpine Gaul, as assigned by Bruscius, will be under the control of governor Gaius Iulius Caesar (Christos200) to maintain the peace and care for Roman interests in the province

I thank you for giving me a chance to prove myself. I promise to you, and to Rome, that I shall not dissapoint you.

ooc yes but since none of us have money, there won't be any spending yet.

Do we send orders after the bill, or now? :P

well considering khan will accept the bill, I guess we can all start giving orders, thou only the generals will do much :p

I think the senate has to ratify the bill first, which means everyone will have to vote on whether or not they accept the bill we have written. And then I guess we send orders.

OOC: No, no ratification is necessary. Consuls decide the bill with our Senate legislative opinion input, that's it. I think we just send in orders.

@GrandKhan, I do round up the income provided if I have 1 management right?

TheDright is correct. A veto may only be requested by a consul. (which in retrospect I will admit is silly, but for the time being lets roll with that.) For now with Erez's signature, the Bill goes ahead.

Please hold up a few hours while I have breakfast, and then update the stats for governorships and Legions etc.

After that you guys can send orders.

@theDright: yes. Any rounding in this NES will be done according to correct mathematical principles. People rounding down when they should round up infuriates me. :p

Had you considered maybe allowing a petition of a certain number of senators to trigger a ratification/veto vote? If I'm a consul I can veto a bill whenever I like anyway, so asking for a vote doesn't really achieve anything except perhaps giving my position a bit more legitimacy. You could tweak the number of senators required to trigger a vote to make sure it doesn't happen all the time, but it could be a useful mechanic for the senators.

Consuls had complete power over the state, so that fits :p the senate never could veto the consuls.

In any case, so we get income already this turn?!

Yep. Armies and provinces are formally yours at the start of the Orders Phase, so you can actually, you know, send orders.

Stats are now complete.

Please send your personal orders for Turn 1 to me. Please title the PM
'KhaNESII Orders, Turn 1, (Charactername)'.

You have 96 hours to send orders. I can extend this if necessary.

Mayor, please PM me (IC) to begin negotiations with Egypt.

@Grandkhan

You've accidentally given me 1 intrigue instead of 1 management. Therefore, I believe my funds should be +12 instead of +8...

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Fixed.

Also fixed a minor error regarding province stats, which should be showing the base value as opposed to the modified by governor value. It is now corrected.

Carry on.
