Bruscius friend, I have threatened no crisis. Our discussion was not over yet, and I did not think it was to be brought to the idea of a "political crisis".
I have agreed that Pannonia is important and should receive a consul's care, but while I disagree completely that making Viator as a secondary general would be "less compatible", he is a well renowned warrior with much knowledge as a military leader. Your reasoning to not agree with me, that will remain private, are the true silliness. We need the best of our military men for Pannonia, and that is you and Viator.
Indeed there are two consuls to the republic, and that is the way it should be. So no single consul could ever gain enough power to decide how Rome behaves on his own, and may I remind you that it is me who believes no man should receive more than a single office in Rome. All for the separation of power, and making sure no other Sulla rises anytime soon.
In any case, going "your way" is against our earlier agreement that each of us will decide on one of two generals for the Pannonian Campaign, and, unless you disagree, we should take this back to privacy.
OOC: Seon. No he doesn't.
