It amazes me to find out he is still alive. His son, Michael Douglas, has entered that realm of acting where you get a lot of old guy roles because there aren't many actors that old, and the idea that his DAD is still kicking never even crossed my mind.

Already in 1960, for Spartacus, Kirk was one of the first people using modern fitness stuff.
His personal trainer, to get that (at that time) fabulous Spartacus body, was Harold Zinkin, who invented the Universal Gym Machine.
Kirk used Gym Machines up into his 90ies !

One of his lite movies is also about two seniors, going to the gym, with a mate, romancing younger women as if they were youngsters.

Kirk, Michael and Michael's son Cameron were all in this movie together in 2003. It wasn't very good but I think it was a hollywood first to have three generations on screen together.

I saw 20000 leagues under the sea six days ago. I saw the trailer on a casette 25 years ago and I've wanted to see it since. I felt I had to do it before Kirk died. Good movie and fantastic effects.
