Ah, bestrfcplayer when did that happen? I don't doubt you, it's just that I did a bit of a tl;dr and went straight for Zack's upadates. Might check again tomorrow if able.
You have no way of proving it… and it took you twenty minutes after your x-post (if four minutes after the last post counts as crossposting, that is) to say you were going to vote him no matter what. That said, where is today's main accusee?
It's fairly obvious that KFC was a serial killer, note the lack of a second hit last night.
The reasoning for the wagon on me is entirely false. Whether Swink knows that or not, I don't know. No one "tries to save" a serial killer. That's not only dumb, but there's also no WIFOM reason to do it either.
I am not going to vote for Coolio just to counter-wagon. I'll look into who to vote for after I've had dinner.
Jarrema stop trying to safe your scummy friend! First abstaining, now following ATPG's 'draw out the inactive' vote? You just went off the scum chart there.
I really have to thank you, Nictel. I wasn't even focusing on behavioral patterns. You putting me on the spot made me think that I had to make a big accusation before I died, because I am not interested in playing a game where I don't even have a chance to make a big case somewhere.
If I hadn't have been re-reading the thread, thanks to your own bandwagon, I probably wouldn't have noticed how outrageously screwy you're behaving.
If you had a vanilla role, you'd be as excited as you were in the Mafia's Comeback, where you could barely muster the energy to vote in the final round.
Now, for the specifics.
If you were plain old mafia, it's a bit of a risk to try to bring me down publicly. It's much easier to bump me off at night, but kudos if you are that ballsy. I actually have another theory. A game with a serial killer and a mafia family, that's all well and good, but in a game this size, I would have expected at least two families.
But there's only one death since KFC got fried. That leaves just a single scum family, it would seem. And how is the serial killer supposed to win? As a game designer myself, there's something fairly obvious here; a power vacuum.
No, there needs to be something else for game balance. And I think I have just the idea of what is going on. You see, a game where there's heaven and hell and god and perhaps adam and any number of biblically-themed roles, would imply perhaps a satanic element. A serpent, perhaps.
In a mafia setting, what is the obvious and almost necessary missing piece to this story? You see, Satan didn't run around killing people. Oh no. In fact, it was the archangels who did the killing, who smited in Gods name.
Satan, rather, went around convincing others to turn against God. A leader, and his followers.
You, sir, are cult. Not the leader, I don't think you'd be that silly. But, I am getting a fairly good idea of who might be. It's little wonder you'd be going the lynch route, because as the rounds go by, you will have more and more control over the vote. And the lynch is your primary weapon. That, and having the cult leader survive.
You'll do in a pinch, but I'd rather go for whoever you're protecting. If I were to wager a bet, I would suggest your ally is either not voting, which is the safest route, or is actually supporting me at the moment, which is a rather cliche blind spot but it's cliche because it works. I do not believe that the leader would risk leading the charge here.
So, minion of Satan, I do have to ask you.... did you ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?
