Cyrus the Great - 21 (23-2)

It's supposed to be -3. Not sure if the -2 was intentional or a mistake, but whoever posts next should start Cyrus at 20.

Trajan - 17 - 3 = 14 Too emaciated to be at all intimidating

Yeah, I was shocked when I first saw him, as in that most well known bust of his, he looks like a very solid guy who would have been even more intimidating than the lanky Trajan we have been given; imo... That scowl of his is good though.

The three overused, dead-horse, never well-depicted Civ mainstays have been eliminated first. Surprise-surprise.

Gandhi to me is the only one who has overstayed his welcome in terms of deservedness. Alexander should always be in the game; but he didn't need the surfer bro look to be an ass! Some of the art they did for him was a better more dignified caricature; and using that they still could have made him condescending as only a genius of his talents can be!

Cleo unsettles my gameplans. Whether it really suits me or not, I do give her more favourable treatment than I would with the other AI in the same situation. Playing a game of allying herself with the powerful is her thing, and I'm glad it's in the game to add spice.

I like Tomy by n large. But when she joint formal wars me after going on about not betraying her (and I've worked to keep her onside!), I just rolls my eyes big time. Immersion breaking I know there is quite a bit going on behind the scenes that leads to that...but the ability to get her to turn on someone who has been only good to her should be harder than the others.

A few early stats for those who like them:

- It took all of 16 voting posts for Gandhi to be voted out of the game meaning that he got 44% of those 16 down-votes!

- Alexander went 10 voting posts later at 26; and Monty went out at voting post 50.

- After 47 posts, the last two leaders that had not got a vote either way both happened to be the most Greek of the Greeks. Pericles was down-voted the next post, and Gorgo was the last leader to move with an up-vote on voting post 51.

I like Amanitore for being unusual. Stereotypical "Nubian queen" would ve half naked and sexualized chick. I wouldn't like leader roster looking all like modern models.

I dislike Cyrus because it is one another subtle ignorant depiction of Persia. Not only does Firaxis insist on limiting Persia to always the same dynasty in all aspects (because of its being "conquered by West" I guess?), it depicts the emperor known for his genius and first humanitarian code of laws in world history... as a cynical betraying conqueror.

Firaxis pls give us some fresh and positive depiction of Iran before its current islamic regime falls.

To those in the know - did Persia ever outdo said dynasty? I think Firaxis go back to that one again and again because it was their golden era.
