-3 Bismark's screen does nothing for me. Solid, but not memorable. I want some of the feel of Germany in the screen, but I'm just given a nicely decorated room.

+1 Pocatello's screen still strikes me as a great example of less is more. Instead of the (many) leaderscreens of leaders in rooms with lots of accoutrements, etc., we're given this grand view - the world of the Shoshone. Excellent detail on costuming. I like the cadence and phonology of his utterances. Also: EAGLE!

I do not think it is an eagle, but instead is a vulture. Vultures have a dihedral (V shaped) wing shape and tilt back and forth while gliding. Eagles fly more like hawks, straight wing pattern with much less tilt.

Still a nice background though.

Hm. I live in Pocatello's neck of the woods and have never seen a vulture. Unless maybe this screen isn't in Idaho? Did Pocatello ever live anywhere else further south? Devs mistake?

+1 to Pocatello. I like the beautiful simplicity of his surroundings. He's not a leader who'll have a fancy palace. Good voice, great scenery. His posturing makes it look like we've come to somewhere he's comfortable.

-3 to Sejong. It's getting hard to find a downvote. I'll have to deduct from Sejong as I find him to be one of the less interesting of the ones who are left.

This is getting really hard to downvote! I like all the remaining ones to some degree.

-3 Genghis. I feel bad taking 3 off Genghis for this, but...his background is too much like the other boring ones for Greece etc. Which is too bad because Genghis actually should have this screen and the other leaders should have had more interesting culture-specific ones. But (getting nitpicky now), that's a very bright green used on the grasses - I would have prefered a harsher steppe terrain for the background - something more rugged. A good screen, but not a great one.

+1 Askia. I've said so much about this screen, but today I'll offer a rebuttal to the earlier poster who says it's too "busy": so many of the other screens are boring stills with no character, Askia's is a bit busy, but aesthetically unified, totally unique, and moody. With all the milquetoast screens, I can't understand the downvotes for this screen. Seriously. I want to spend upvotes elsewhere, but I have to keep spending them here. Seriously my favorite screen (tie with Kamehameha).

How did Cathy lose out already? Easily the best rack in the line up, never had a bad time talking to her, my point goes to Theodora for the second best.

Not sure if they made Kamehameha so rediculously muscular as a Dragonball Z reference, but it's off putting, pretty sure polynesians are not naturally built like they're on steroids.
