Haile Selassie - 10 + 1 = 11 - It's futile, but as the rest of the leaderscreens pretty much suck I'm upvoting Haile Selassie.
Pachacuti - 25 - 3 = 22 - I'm mad. Harun gets eliminated for being static, while Pachacuti is at 25 points despite being static. The heck? Die, toothless, superioristic, uncleaned Incan!
Gajah Mada - 24
Pacal - 21
Maria I - 21

The thing is, Pachacuti knows how to use his legs. Have you never gone to war against him (or made him angry somehow)?

I'm not voting, I just realised I forgot to actually subtract 3 from Enrico.

Pachacuti is one of those "Kill-On-Sight" AIs for me, so I go to war with him extremely frequently and do realize that he moves (significantly) more than Harun. However, I still feel that the screen is vastly overrated and rather dull.

Since neither Maria I nor Askia are in any danger and Monty is dead, I'll upvote the one I like most - Dandy. Venice looks awesome at night, his clothes also look cool, and he's got great voice acting, possibly the best in Civ. He just sounds welcoming and friendly, but also devious. Fitting.

-3 to Boudicca. I just think she's one of the worst of remaining leaderscreens, that's all. It's not bad, she sounds nice, but I decided to downvote her this time.

Well, Monty went from 30 to 0 in the course of, about, one page. No one is safe! :O

MARIA I
Sure, it may not be the starry night sky that most CivFanatics like, and it may not be the big, grand leaderscreen that some other leaders have, but this leaderscreen is still one of the best. Everything in this leaderscreen just fits with everything else, from the colours, to the aesthetic, the music, the composition, the layers - everything just comes together so beautifully to create a delightfully charming leaderscreen which perfectly represents the Portugal Civ. It's not the shiniest Civ, nor is it the grandest, most overpowered, but all of it's elements just come together so smoothly, so seamlessly, and it creates a delightful Civ to play as. Truly, this is a leaderscreen which accurately represents the Civ it is attached to.

GAJAH MADA
An empty, foggy field, with some trees. Oh, and part of a building in the corner of the background. Wheeeee? It's like Napoleons, but with more leaves, more gloom, and no horse. Though, it would be funny to see Gajah on a horse.

You'd think that this far after Vanilla they'd have done away with the leaderscreens of leaders standing around in the middle of fields. It's like a combination of Oda's emptiness, and Napoleon's haziness. It's dark, and quite bland compared to the rest of the leaderscreens still up. Hopefully, Gajah Mada, the last entrant into the empty field club of leaders.

We're down to the final fifteen, and it looks like either Mary T or Haile will be the next to go. Or maybe Boudicca. I'm actually surprised Maria Theresa made it this far; I thought she'd go sooner. Looks like Ashurbanipal and Enrico have the best shot to win this thing, but who knows? I've got a "sleeper" pick for the winner of this thread, but I'm afraid that if I divulge it now people will vote it down to prove me wrong.

I'm actually quite shocked by all of the down-votes that Maria Theresa has gotten. Her's may not be my favourite leaderscreen (That honour, obviously, falls to Maria I of Portugal), but it is quite charming and well put together. If I had to wager as to which would go next, I would say either Gajah, or Boudica. Both are, basically, glorified random-field leaders. Gajah is in an empty field, with one stone building in the corner. Boudica is in an empty field, with a wall behind her.

It does put them above the empty random field leaders, but not above the ones which should advance beyond this point.

Gajah Mada is standing in front of the capital of the Majapahit (the candi in the back is from Trowulan and it is the "gates" to his realm). The field in the back is a rice padi which is perhaps the single most important aspect of Indonesia in terms of their history, so much so that there are elaborate spiritual stories based off of it

The Japan, Celts and France leaderscreens are literally just random fields. No comparisons to be made (in terms of symbolism. But of course aesthetically I am not questioning the above posters by any means)

It very well may be, but you could never tell by just looking at it. I'm sure there are many people who can tell exactly where Oda or Napoleon are standing, and see the significance, but for most people, their screens - including Gajah's - is just another field. Of course, the Candi in Gajah's background does set it above the other random field leaders.

I'm suddenly a little worried about Gajah Mada, but for now my upvote goes to Askia, for such a wonderful piece of evocative art. Part sunset, part brooding rage - I consider this a Top 5 screen.

Dandolo is actually a pretty good screen, but quite a few people who voted in the last 24 hours did their downvotes based on "overrated". I think that's a weird way to vote, but I'll jump on the bandwagon just for today. I don't feel it is the best screen, but it's 2nd right now, so I'll take a few points off. (But don't worry, I still like it!)

Askia - It's entirely unique and the burning buildings make it look simply stunning. I can't believe the votes are under 20 for this one. I agree with above that it's a top 5 leaderscreen in the game. I understand some people voted against it because it's not realistic...what??? This is a video game I thought. Almost none of the leaderscreens are actual places of diplomacy, so I feel like we should just vote on aesthetics and the leaders

Theresa - It's on its way to being eliminated. Someone just finish it already. The top 10 leaderscreen doesn't have room for a snob. EDIT: Someone posted same time as me. Looks like she's officially axed! :D

I downvoted Harold a while back and for the same reason today I shall downvote him he looks down at me and it pi$$e$ me off!

And for the lovely Theodora great music for wonderful architecture in the background truly suitable. Then Theodora herself who inspired the men of Byzantium to restore their empire to it's former Roman glory!

Haile Selassie - 5
Pachacuti - 23
Gajah Mada - 21
Pacal - 21
Maria I - 19 Nice scenary but poor character. I have indeed read the civ history on her and that she was ill during her reign but the leaderscreen shows her with some sort of runny nose. She doesn't breathe through her nose which irks me, like as if she's become literally sick of leadership.
Askia - 18
Enrico Dandolo - 23
Shaka - 20

Ashurbanipal - 28
Theodora - 20 Theodora might be the laziest leader ever. Harun never stood up, but Theodora meets you lying on a couch. Her speech is somewhat cloying too. As I said before, she's like Catherine 2.0.
Dido - 20 Giving Dido a vote. Not my favorite leaderscreen, but generally well-executed. Dido somehow seems young and vulnerable, which contrasts nicely with her sneaky, backstabbing behavior.
