In my ongoing war against 'war boredom', I present you with another gripping culture attack.

This time closer to home (for me), please take a minute to familiarise yourselves with the world of the Ned.

Ned = Non-Educated Delinquent, a sub-species of thug native to Scotland.

I've been to Glasgow, and found it to be a fairly nice city, though a bit dirty. Never seen a "ned" though.

I've been in Glasgow twice and I think it is a rough place. But I like that! I've seen 3 fights in one night, but all of them seemed 'fair'.

And yes: I beleive I have seen several NEDs.

I've never been in Glasgow to see it but there are neds here too, but we call them "nacos" or "colombians"

Most areas where they hang out are in the Glasgow badlands, off the beaten track...

In Glasgow, avoid any place with 'hill', 'foot' 'ston' in the name...These are usual Ned zones!

The Berlin variant runs under the simple designation Proll.
Some fashion style, same rituals. Different drinks though - here they are enjoying a brandy based poison called Futschi.
Strongpoints in the old west are the quarters of Wedding, Neukölln and Märkisches Viertel. Assimilation of the eastern variant is nearly complete.
One beautiful gathering point I regularly pass is a kebap stall called Schlemmerparadies. I like watching them having a nice 7am breakfast of canned beer and Futschi/ Goldbrand.
Feeding not recommended.
