The game is scheduled to be released on April, 11th, that is tomorrow.
Since I read Rock, Paper, Shotgun's article about the game in question by Mr John Walker and watched this on Youtube, I was hooked. Me finishing Lands Of Lore this March has probably something to do with this.
After playtest, hope I will recommend this promising piece of Old School to CRPG players, both young and old.

Best wishes

I watched TotalBiscuit's WTH on it, it looks like they did a great job of it although it isn't something that really appeals to me. I really like how they gave it very nice and modern resolution dungeon textures instead of something that looks like it is from the Dos era like some games in a recent indie bundle have.

Well, it's been in development for 10 years ! I have high expectations for this thing.

I recommend Eterians Odessey if you like old school RPGs.
(Very hardcore expect frequent deaths, leveling to fight bosses, farming of resources)

I've been following it for a while. Quite tempted, I miss Dungeon Master (I used to play that on my SNES!). But I don't know if I'll have time to play it. Or any of the 50 games piled up that I haven't had time to play.

Expectations have been (mostly) met !
I've only played 3 levels tho and i'm still figuring out some things. It really does capture that Eye of the Beholder feel. I was somewhat disappointed by the lack of classes at first glance (3 classes) but i guess you can mold those into other "classes" - oh and you have 4 races, making this one of the few games that has more races than classes !
Anyway, i really love the exploration and old-school puzzles. The combat is sorta awkward, but that's my opinion about combat in these kinds of games (that's mostly because i've been spoiled by Wizardry's turn-based combat system)
And from what i've seen you can play other dungeons as well, not just Grimrock. The game asks you to select a dungeon at the start; so we can wait for the modders to make some new stuff !

To Mr Heretic_Cata
I concur over here. Also, excellent parabole with Eye of the Beholder; they managed to get that claustrophobic feeling of old school dungeon exploration. Albeit, one must say in all honesty that game is probably for "hard core" RPG fans only. I half expected (read: feared) somewhat heavier tinkering and much more novel approach. To paraphrase: I know not how other shall judge this game. As for me, give me more of this or Civ VI.
More on the game itself when I have a chance to play substantially more tomorrow.
