England in the last few years has expanded slightly, conquering only two provinces, Munster, the last Irish stronghold, save for Tyrone an English vassal, finally agreed to surrender after a short and bloodless war in which their capital fell quickly, they accepted full annexation. Scotland finally submitted to English rule with their surrender of Lothian and accepted full annexation. With these two annexations, England assured the world that her dominion over the islands and the seas was complete and assured.
During these years the English fleet proved to the world that they are not a force to be reckoned with as they assisted their ally, Bulgaria, in keeping the Thracian Strait open or blocked depending on whose side you fought on, and defeated the Ottoman Fleet in a single decisive action outside Thrace where 28 English Capital Ships faced 20 Ottoman Galleys in a lopsided battle which England won by sinking or capturing 18 of their ships at the loss of 1. (This ship was actually lost after the battle as it attempted to limp back to Thrace for repairs.)
They again asserted their dominance around Thrace in Bulgaria's second war against the Ottomans, rather than fight the Ottomans small 2 ship fleet, the mighty 28 ship fleet instead took on the Mamluk's small 10 ship fleet and decisively crushed them with no losses.
In what was also the biggest war in English history, the Fleet lend support against France who fought against most of Europe, our army while small compared to the vast French forces managed to lay siege to Calais before peace was finally agreed.
As King Henry VI Lancaster takes a difference stance from his mother, and enters a peaceful reign to allow his kingdom to recuperate and heal from the constant wars, he prepares for a Quest to the New World, he has already designated the Blue Squadron with 10 Capital Ships and soon to be added 5 Cogs, along with 5,000 troops to land in what English explorers call Manhattan and begin a new era of English supremacy.
