Lets make an example of a player killer (in-game)

When i played MMORPGS not many people liked me either. In the main forum for the game when i said my account was hacked into and my password was changed they said i was lying. And this really did happen and thats why i dont play that game anymore.

How stupid. If you get crucified for attacking people then why are you even allowed to attack people? Other than that, I think that this is way superior to banning.

Some games allow PKing for roleplayed reasons, or to players of a similar level as your own, but not to numerous low level players for little or no reason.

XD this topic wins.

Thats great- allows even greater immersion into the game..

less of this "you are blocked from the server" crap

Has a certain appeal to it

Of course it would be more satisfying if hackers and scammers were crucified for life.

The only thing that makes me disappointed with online gaming (other than lag) is hackers. Especially when you cant catch them.

Wow wow wow. What is the game called? Roma Victor? Is anyone playing it? Is it good? :D

@Azzaman - the only effecive weapon against them is a gun. Real gun :)

nice  allthough it might have been better if they used something other thana cross, did the romans have stockades?

In EverQuest, you're not allowed to attack any other player. As in, it's not possible--the game simply refuses to apply any kind of damage (melee attacks, area-effect spells, ANYTHING) against a player if the source of that damage was another player.

But you can still kill people. All you have to do is get a bunch of monsters mad at you and then run them past the person you want dead. It's called "training" (i.e. you're the engine, and the monsters are the cars), and it's a bannable offense if you do it intentionally and repeatedly.

Not true. There are PvP servers that you can play on that allow for Player vs Player combat.

Even in EQII they have implemented some PvP zones and the arenas.

Heh, thats even worse than PKing them, as in EQ you take an exp loss (or used to) when a monster kills ya.

I don't quite think that this is the right forum for this type of thread.

And what's the point of playing some games if you get, well, crucified, for killing other players? Why don't they just nail you to the cross when you join the game.

This is hilarious
And Awesome
