In 2010 I started the social group entitled LGB-CFC as a place for lesbian, gay or bi members of this forum to chat, share experiences and generally be a part of. In naming the group, I never intentionally meant to exclude the ''T'' of transsexuals which normally also falls under this collective banner. I suppose I didn't know any, hadn't ever met any and didn't really expect a small group on an internet forum to attract any who might fall under ''T''. Perhaps this was the reason I chose the name, but I now feel like it sends the wrong message.
As a result I would like to request that a moderator renames the group LGBT* CFC. If anyone is wondering the * (or sometimes a plus sign) represents any others who might not consider themselves under any of the traditional categories but nonetheless feels an affinity for the group.
I feel like this would be a more inclusive and welcoming title for the social group.
