Light In The East: Civs Of The Orient(And Beyond)

I think the United Nations wants some oversight in this extradition....

Also I've decided Our World is the UN in Civ mod fanfiction

Really interested to see where all of these new developments go. Progress on Bhutan is of course nice, and the new UA seems really unique - it's just a shame you were unable to use the original design for it.

In terms of Hiram's civs being broken up and distributed among the other empire, I'm curious to see what kind of design you'll go for with Ryukyu.

Aren't you making Israel or something? Well, fanfiction... :mischief:

Just to show that stuff is happening.

Oh man, that's pretty impressive! On the "stuff that's happening" note, here's what I think will be the final incarnations of the Bhutanese UU and UI icons.

And someone pointed out to me that the second aspect of the UA (+1 Happiness from Friendship) isn't 100% historical accurate, given how many centuries they've been busy, uh, not being friends with Tibet, Sikkim, and Nepal. I came up with a few alternate methods to generate happiness through the UA, and figured I'd see if anyone's got any input on the subject.
Spoiler :
+1 Local Happiness from Dzongs, Landmarks, and Holy Sites within 3 tiles of a city.

+1 Local Happiness from Mountains within 3 tiles of a city.

+1 Happiness from generated Great People for the duration of the Era they were generated in.

1. Really useful and fits with rest of the civ

2.Too many mountain civs as-is, aslo could be incredibly OP; but fits with theme

3. A bit finicky, also does not really fit with the rest of the theme

How about:

20% of excess Happiness is converted into Faith, increased to 40% with the discovery of Theology. +1 Local Happiness from Dzongs, Landmarks, and Holy Sites within 3 tiles of a city. Doubled if the city is ajacent to a mountian.

also could be changed to: +0.5 local happiness from Dzongs, Landmarks, and Holy Sites within 3 tiles of a city per mountain within the city's border. It's a little bit too complicated though.

1st option fits with the rest of the Civ design and scales better on higher difficulties.

Also, that's a great LH and Map for the Hafsid's.

Do you have the Uniques planned yet?

The uniques are a UI and a naval UU.

Spoiler :
UA: Merchant specialists yield +1 faith and +1 food in cities with a naval garrison, rising to +2 faith and +2 food in desert cities. Whenever a Great Merchant is born, level up all your naval units.

UU: The Corsair earns additional experience the further it is from the Capital, unlike the Privateer it replaces, and inherits some of the experience from units it kills, allowing it to level up extremely fast to offset its inherently weak strength when compared with the regular galleas. When garrisoned, the Corsair yields +2 gold and +1 great merchant point for every level it has accrued.model here

UI: Ribat: The Ribat yields +1 gold and +1 faith, and yields an additional +1 science and +1 faith after researching education, however it may only be constructed on desert tiles. Crucially, whenever you send a trade route from a city, receive science for every worked Ribat in that city.

Also, impressive icons. The UU icon spectacular!

That was my first leader actually :)

Your artwork really reminds me of the Artistriach's style which is fantastic and is truly amazing also:

In regards to Bhutan the Icons are truly fantastic as Danmasch said.

In my capacity as a minor functionary of the CLommonwealth, I must object toany torture of Natan (even with the big pointy knives and things) in the strongest possible terms.

In my capacity as an international ideas dealer... when do I get a go? =]

What is "Piety & Prestige" and why is it different to "Sovereignty?" I demand answers! :p

Also, Pouakai == research? Wha-what?

Also, also, people should stop lying about having CBP support (including me). I expect the Market in CBP affects some kind of resource.
