It was a dank and rainy day upon the shores of the Korean straight. Most days were. A light rain pelted the water on this particular day near the Korean port of Busan, on the tip of the penisula. The docks of this particular port city bustled with movement as small trading ships from China and Mongolia docked and unloaded their cargo. A single, seemingly unassuming man stood upon the docks, looking out to sea, towards Kojaro.
A dock worker stopped to look at man, the only man standing still among a constantly moving throng. Walking up to the man, the dock worker stopped to stand beside him, and look out towards the sea as well, to figure out what the man was doing. They stood in silence for a moment, the backround noise of the dock seeming to melt away as they both stood there.
"What are you doing?" asked the dock worker curiously, not finding the sea particularly interesting on this bleak day.
The man turned to the docker worker in silence before speaking in a voice that seemed to come from beyond the ages. "Waiting,", the man simply, yet profoundly said. Suddenly, all backround noise stopped. The soft patter of the rain disappeared, the talking and yelling men on the dock, and even the roll of the waves. Total silence. The dock worker, confused, looked around him. Nothing was moving, every thing and everyone was stock still. Stopped.
"I was waiting, now I won't wait anymore. It is...time." the ambigous man said again. He waved his hand towards the water, towards Kojaro, and as he did so, a gigantic armada of Mongolian and Chinese galleys faded into view, with fierce infantry marines and Ethereal Calvary standing upon its deck. The man turned to look at the speechless dock worker, smirking.
"I am Temujin the Immortal, and I will no wait any longer. Kojaro will fall." Temujin disappeared in a flash of light, and time resumed.
The other dock workers looked out towards the sea, suprised at the sudden appearance of a war fleet outside the dock. Several asked just what happened. The lone dock worker only answered, 'the invasion of Kojaro begins'.

The Armada sat in visable range of the Kojaro's main dock and Capital, Kyoto. A small task force of Kojaro galleys had fled out of sight, most likely to gather the Kojaro navy to defeat the Mongol threat. The Mongolian-Chinese Armada merely waited, intending to defeat the Kojarian naval prescence first, before attempting to invade the nations shores.
Upon the Mongolian Flagship, Temujin stood watching the capital city of Kojaro with hungry eyes surrounded by numerous advisors and generals. The Ethereal Calvary floated ominously on the deck, many of the crew members avoiding their uneartly prescense like the plauge.
A Chinese general knelt to the Khan's back, surrounded by several Mongolian generals. He looked up slightly towards Temujins back before speaking, "My lord, all I ask is that we take the captial city! We are all loyal to you, but this waiting is pointless!"
Temujin did not turn around, speaking softly in response, "Would you rather our invasion force get slaughtered because reinforcements were stopped by Kojaro's navy? Before we can establish a beach head upon the island, we must first destory their navy, or any invasion we mount will be defeated easily."
The Chinese general nodded in agreement, but pressed on, "I know this, my lord, but we have Time mages! We can teleport in reinforcements and supplies in liu of a naval supply line. This would speed up the invasion process significantly!"
Temujin scoffed before turning an answering the general face to face, "I have lived have waged wars for longer than four of your life times. I have practiced magic since I was born over five hundred years ago. Any attempt to teleport in troops and supplies can be counter acted by enemy mages. I will not take that risk of reliance upon our magic, which can be blocked, espically in their own territory!"
The Chinese general glowered for a moment, before ascenting to his Khan's wishes, and gave up his argument. He stood, taking his place in the semi-circle of Generals behind him. Another general, a Mongolian one, walked forward to speak, kneeling in front of his Khan.
"My lord, I ask that you give a portion of the Ethereal Calvary under my command. I have already ordered them to do so, but their leader merely laughed in my face. Please sir, the Calvary will be a crucial part of this battle, and concentrated togther they will do to little to be of full use."
Temujin laughed, before calling the Ethereal Calvary leader over, and asking him why they refused the Mongolian general's orders. "We only answer to the Khan," the Ethereal General responded with a ghostly smile. Temujin smiled heartly after a good laugh, and complied with the general's request.
A sharp cry came from another boat futher west of the Flagship, "The Kojaro! There here!" Temujin the Immortal merely smiled.

History of the Eastern Empire, Vol.II
Battle for Kojaro Straight
Kojaro wasn't surprised by the attack, as they've been expecting it for a while. But what they didn't expect was for the Eastern Empire, then the Mongolian Empire, to have time mages on board. Before escaping the trap, 1/4 of the Kojarian navy is destroyed by ghostly Ethereal calvary, and time mages stopping the Kojarian navy for bordering by Mongolian ships. The Kojarians flee the battle to retrieve a large contigent of Kojarian necromancers from the shore and come back with a counter to the Mongolian Empire's magic.
The Kojarian necromancers don't have the strength to stop every magic. The necromancers of China keep working. The battle rages, and huge portions of both navies are destroyed. The battle begins to favor the Kojarian empire, and it seems as if the Mongolian attempt at a sea battle is a faliure. Temujin then drops a 'time bomb' upon the enemy navy and destroys half of the remaining Kojarian fleet. The massive tidal wave created by the bomb is escaped by sending the fleet 5 minutes into the future. When it comes back, the Kojaro fleet is broken, and although the Mongolian Empire lost many troops and ships, the pathway to the japanese archipelago was laid wide open.
The beginning of the Eastern Empire as it is today was born in this battle, where both Mongol and Chinese fought and died together as one. It also signified the end of the Kojarian naval dominance of the Asian seas, and their aspirations of a ocean empire, for soon after this battle, a Mongolian-Chinese invasion of Kojarian homeland began in earnest, and Vietnam began invading Kojaro's now unsupported colonies.
