"It is good that war is terrible, we should grow fond of it." - Robert E. Lee
First Age: Year Eleven
The first conflicts erupt across the world, where two cultures take up arms against each other, or worst yet, brother and sister turn and knife the other in the back. The Amazonians, expanding throughout the jungle of their land, have taken many territorial trophies. Possessing a bountiful military and economic empire, their supremacy in the continent was up until now unchallenged, until when Amazon raiders savaged a village of tribals, they stood up and fought back. The Qon'Tai, until recently a loose shamanistic gathering of several tribes with similar religious backgrounds, have become a feasible force in the Amazon region. Taking several Amazonian regional forts (-1 Economy, Amazon) they have become a large thorn in the curved, idealized side of the Amazonian people. Despite Qon'Taiaic interference, the Amazon have consolidated their hold over their lands, and completed a census, acknowledging that their population has increased (+1 Population, +1 Army, Amazon).
The Kingdom of Argulum has separated from the Confederacy, and become its own faction, much to the consternation of its brethren back in the Argulate or traditional homeland of the Argulic people. A besieged and troubled land, the Argulumi as they are coming to call themselves, are surrounded by an incensed native population constantly raiding their cities and stealing their livestock, and suffer from attacks by the Confederacy as attempts to reclaim Argulum. (+1 Kingdom of Argulum faction, -1 Argulic Nationhood/Loyalty, +Argulumic Nationhood/Loyalty, +1 Argulumic Army, +1 Argulic Army) As a note, the Argulic Confederation comes into contact with the people of Salvonic.
The Ronenta, are out of these three warring cultures the least fortunate. Their confederation has broken into several city-states and fiefdoms, warring against each other to consolidate a hold over the Ronentic Peninsula. For now, they are a people in anarchy with no true leadership on any of their sides, and appear to stagnate(Ronentic Nationhood/Loyalty defaulted to bottom, will stagnate for one or more turns).
In more peaceful developments, the people of Calli have formed a proto-republican form of government gathering a council of Elders from all of the cities and provinces of their growing empire. This increases free trade throughout their lands, and allows the growth of their economy (+1 Economy), but leads to some squabbling among their leadership (-1 Nationhood/Loyalty). They do not expand, but instead seek allies among the less civilized tribes of their region, who in awe of their accomplishments and believing that they are servants of the gods, send several hundred berserk warriors to fight for them (+1 Army). Callic attempts to urbanize their population have been successful, which leads to an increase in the size of their population due to higher birthrates (+1 Population).
The people of Gvardia, to the east and along the main river of this continent, have been busy constructing a ring of fortifications along the inner core of their territories (+1 Army), and conducting trade with nearby tribes. Their expansion may bode interesting events for the people of Citia, to the north.
The people of Citia expand east and southward along the rivers of their land. Converting several tribes to their way of thinking, they are the premier power in their part of the world (+1 Religion Strength). Their attempt to switch to a form of "paper", currency has been marginally successful, creating notes on solidified leaves for amounts of money, making it easier for the average citizen to conduct business. They continue their irrigation project.
Far across the sea, the people of Warmia stagnate, their king giving only the command to increase the size of their army. +1 Army.
The King of Salvonic has enacted a land policy, lending out plots of land for those that would build upon it things conducive to the improvement of the nation. This works as the government hoped, to some extent, rebounding the Salvonic economy (+1 Economy, +1 Population). They also come into contact with the people of Warmia.
The people of the Terran Kingdom vanish, future historians will postulate that they were killed off by a plague. The ruins of their culture serve as homes for small mammals such as ferrets. -Terran Kingdom Faction.
The theocracy of Jenet expands across the sea and upon land, sending out their soldiers to crush fledgling tribes, and their priests to convert those too powerful to be challenged quite yet (+1 Population). They begin the construction of a massive "wonder", project, Ja'Net's War Academy (-1 Economy, +1 Nationhood/Loyalty). They increase the size of their military (+1 Army). The people begin to learn, thanks to the efforts of the government, how to build their own houses and places of worship and learning. These leads to a golden age of Jenetic architecture. Trade with the Kingdom of Malakhan makes the average citizen a pleased and "exotically"-inclined man.
The people of Malakhan expand, killing or converting barbarian tribes, and enslaving the non-Malakhanic population within their territories. Several slave revolts jolt the nobility into raising familial armies to defend their own plots of land, (-1 Nationhood/Loyalty, +1 Economy). This nobility that raised its own armies is part of the growing class of Malakhanic land-owners who have been propped up by the Malakhanic government and priesthood to delegate control of land to be farmed, making this "common man's nobility", very rich.
Across the plains and steppes, the people of Dymaea continue to expand. They complete their wonder project, their proto-feudalistic and free-market economy mix making them quite wealthy (+1 Economy). They also increase their military and navy, thanks to the size of their empire, and their larger population (+1 Army, +1 Navy, +1 Population).
OOC: I have no dramatic ending for this update.

Let me know if I have missed anything, I will post a map and make it all purty as Abaddon suggested later. Stats will probably take a while, though. You may notice that the colors of some cultures have been switched or changed. I'm going to have to talk to some people about the map and issues associated with editing it in MSPaint. Don't be surprised or too sad if we switch to a different map...
