Lowest Scoring challenge GOTM X

thought this would be a whole lot funnier, and it actually was.

1958 / 462points.

Three errors on my parts, accidentaly told the germans to stick there request for some money and a map. not good since they thougt that was a request worthy of war. So I had to spend a lot of money and tech to make others fight it for me, never really recovered from that. In a trade I later accidentaly again at 4 am entereed 350 gp per turn instead of 350 gp lump ... had to start another war to get out of that one. Third I didn't get Newtons cause it was taken by someone else in a cascade of wonder production, instead I got stuck with the navigation wonder (i didn't want to waste my shields and no other wonders was around).

So I ended the game poor and atleast 5-6 techs behind the leader bunch.

In an OCC are there any other possible endings except death and culture ? spaceship, and UN ... spaceship should be possible but you'll need an extreme tech advantage since you only have one city to make parts. UN ... I don't know.

In my game the Americans stared the UN in 1904, finished it in 1912... their GL?? . I quickly slipped the remaining civs a 100 gold apiece to make them gracious but Abe didn't call a vote. I won cultural in 1936 with 535 points.

I really liked the idea of a low points victory, but the OCC with cultural victory does not pose any challenge on regent level, so I was trying to get a diplomatic victory with just one city.
It worked out not too bad.
Since I was beaten to the Newtons university (having the colossus and coperincus observatory already), my resaearch rate was not great. This shortcoming taught my a lot about trading with the AI.
Never once before I could get so much money from my own research.
It was quite close at the end. Just a few turns before I would have got a cultural victory, I was able to build the UN and got a 4:1 vote:
Diplomatic victory in 1958 with a low score of 451 points.
It was a fun game.
