For many years there has been much tension between our two great nations and all these tensions have ended in war. More blood shed, more of our young men slaughtered for no good cause. We must cease such things before they again erupt into conflict. Hence the Sultan extends his hand of peace, first in the form of a trade agreement the details of which can be discussed once the Russian Empire agrees to start.
To the members of the French Entente
The Sultan asks that our alliance meet to plan the forth coming years and coordinate our trade relations so as to maximise our profit. As the Sultan is the one to call this meeting he suggests it be held in Istanbul.
