The Republic of Scandinavia henceforth declares war against the Reich of Germany. Germany, for far too long, has held Europe hostage with aggression, not simply with the former regime of Austria, but through its belligerent diplomacy and its formation of alliances aimed at the division of Europe and the errosion of the balance of power. Scandinavia, with her allies the Republic of France, sees this as unacceptable, and has thus taken measures to stop the German Reich before it attempts to conquer the whole of the continent.
