LuckNES2: The Fatal Balance

@Icmancin: Of course.

@Lucky: Sorry for the delay, orders are coming. And for the record I would support a BT as well. But then I'm not a superpower. ;)

Hold orders. I will most likely do a BT now as things really don't need to keep going in the 1820's. Nothing I can't solves in a BT. Everyone send BT orders. The NES will restart in 1853ish.

Please do set a firm deadline for the BT orders then.

Friday March 9th @ 6pm EST

BT ORDERS DUE DATE

edit: I will keep current orders and use them as well so do not worry your work did not go on in vain.

I support either. BT orders will be in earlier hopefully. And hopefully Ill be back up and not sick then.

I would rather have the IT continue, at least until the Anglo-Indian War is finished, but it seems the decision has already been made. If we are to go to BT, will you do a mini-update or two first to resolve the war? They wouldn't take long, and the state of India is fairly crucial to my BT orders

I will write one up once I get orders from Silver.

Remember guys BT orders. Silver you can send guidelines for the war with Britain and I will do my best, based on your past orders.

Awards for LuckNES2 IT I:

Player Awards:

Winner: Symphony D. - Perhaps Kal’Thzar or Icmancin deserve this as well so I will mention them. I had a hard time deciding on the winner but looking back Symphony had consistently good orders and well thought out plans. Not to mention he went from nothing to power in a very short amount of time. Unlike Everyone else who had these things to start with.
Best Player: Perfectionist - Though many undoubtedly did greater things, he consistently sent multiple PM Orders full of great things. He deserves this award.
Most Persistent Player: Symphony D. - reasons are all throughout these awards.
Least Persistent Player: Darkening - He forgot he was in the NES, that’s the least persistent thing I have ever seen.
Best Unsung Leader: Niklas - He took over the Greater Baltic Union in its collapse and fought back after the defeat to regain economic ability in Europe.
Most Aggressive Player: Symphony D. - not very man turns of Peace for him. Constantly invading and annexin everything in site. Seven nations is my count.
Least Aggressive Player: Shortguy - He invaded someone without actually sending ground forces.
Best Orders: Perfectionist- same reason as above.
Best New Player: The Major - he made Mexico into a regional power, and then defeated Yucatan and Guatemala only to be invaded by the Federated States of America. He fought hard and had great plans even gaining some major victories over the veteran in Symphony D. I personally see him as a great NESer once he works out the rough edges. He later took over the Spain and helped with the downfall of France. Only adding to his earning of this award.
Best Storywriter: Not many Stories in this NES but Cuivienen takes this for all the stories, some you never saw.
Luckiest Player: Symphony D. to quote das “all his enemies, no matter how wary they were earlier, tended to redeploy the vast majority of their forces elsewhere or otherwise let their guard down just before he attacked.”
Most Cunning Player: Alex994 - Many of his cunning strategies went unseen to the public but caused the victories against Japan as China and the rise of Peru as a South American Power.
Evilest Player: Silver 2039 - he killed Christians by the hundreds of thousands and didn’t care.
Most Rebellious Player: Sheep - he left the NES but still caused many rebellions in the Ottoman held Balkans.
Most Suicidal Player: Nuclear Kid - Nearly ruined the peace in Europe before the war was planned to start.
Best Come Back: Kal’Thzar- The French invasion nearly defeated Germany, he signed peace but he over threw himself in a coup and fought back to become the greatest power in the world.

Nation Awards:

Greatest Power: Grosse Duetsche Reich- The gap is closing in on it though.
Greatest North American Power: Federated States of America - annexed along with Canada nearly the entire continent.
Greatest South American Power: United Kingdom of Great Britain, only after conquering Peru.
Greatest European Power: Grosse Duetsche Reich - Simple enough to understand.
Greatest African Power: Empire of Portugal - The only European Power to stay neutral used the time to conquer most of Africa.
Greatest Asian Power: Qing China - Only after defeating the Japanese did the power boom.
Biggest Rise: Greater Indian Empire - From a fifth of India to controlling all of India and Afghanistan.
Most Influential Nation: Federated States of America - technology and secret network races all thinks to Symph.
Most Surprising: Dutch Republic- joined Germany and helped conquer France.
Evilest Empire: Greater Indian Empire - killed Christians by the hundreds of thousands, also used the materials of church buildings to build bridges and roads for the army to use.
Longest Name: Holy Unified Republic of Italy
Most Screwed-up Nation: Kingdom of Serbia - From rebellion to Russian Monarchy, this small country has a horrible economy a confused public and many enemies.
Strongest Army: GDR Army
Strongest Navy: Portuguese Imperial Navy
Strongest Air Force: GDR Hot Air Balloons
Largest Nation: Empire of All Russias - though a couple come close.
Smallest Nation: Mughal Empire - It was only the city of Delhi.
Strongest Economy: Empire of All Russias
Most Technologically Advanced: Federated States of America - rifled muskets, railway engineering and many many other things. ;)
Most Patriotic: Greater Indian Empire - they through themselves at cannon fire for the greater cause.
Most Original Nation: Holy Unified Republic of Italy - unifying Italy under the Pope was smart and original.

Favorite Nation: Canadian Republic

-----------

This thread will remain open as the NES thread just so you know.

Favorite Nation! Sure, I might have spent the entire time in Lousiana's (read USA) and France (read UK), just like real life, but we did damn good things, like jumping on the chart from 5 per turn or so to 12 per turn, being the only alliance to hold for the whole thing, being at the front of technology, and being Favorite Nation, meaning I had to do something not so great but at the same time different.

Wow, my second least-aggressive (though this time I actually had the wherewithal to make some waves).

Nice awards.

Thanks for the appreciation Lucky, I'll wear that award with pride. :)

And I agree with the others, nice awards.

I am going to bump up the BT orders due date to Wednesday. I wanna get this NES back on the road by NEXT WEEK. So you have like 48 hours.

So, no mini-update then?

So, no mini-update then?

Well I really don't want to as the situation will come down to the same as last time. Eventual British loss. It will be covered in the BT. Who knows things may change.

EDIT: I really shouldn't call it a BT. I should call it Skipped Time.

How will there be an eventual British loss? The British have superior tactics, training, technology and a massive fleet to support it. India is no way a lost cause. Plus, I am sure not all of Silvers radical social policies will be paticulary popular with everyone. As far I know any nation trying to push forward liberal policies always ecounters resistance.

I may be wrong and it is ultimately up to you but is it fair to doom Perfectionist before he even has a chance?
