Spoiler :
Instead of heading to what Kragenskull percieved to be the dragon's cave, the brown dragon swirled in the air, folded in its wings and dived toward the sand.

It hit the ground and started tunneling. This was bad. If it got to far underground or too far away, it might be hard to track down. Or it could have spotted the half-demon and could be coimg straight towards him.

Either way, now would be a good time to move...

Spoiler :
Deep in the lush jungles of Gouthieen, Heat'ran had found the lair of the ettercaps. Two of the giant spider-like humanoids stood at the entrance covered in webs, giant spiders tied to strong, ropey vines.

One wrong move could alert them to his presence. His worst fear was realised when he mis-stepped and stepped on branch.

The ettercaps looked his way, conversing in their odd, clicking tongue. He would have to do something, and fast.

Almost, ALMOST a Cliche,

Spoiler :
Heat'ran cursed in his mind, and then took out three of his enchanted axes and his flute. He quickly, using the flute's silencer, chanted the spell. He kept an eye on the ettercaps, who are waving their heads for any more sounds...

Manga, Tyra sahan sha san
Etternappa catin chis tin kan

The axes took a blue glow, lifted in the air and flew in different directions, two flew up while one flew to the left. Sweat lined his brow as he continued, and changed the incantation, he slowly slid out his staff...

Suddenly an ettercap chattered wildly, guesturing toward his direction. It moved closer as the other tried to return to it's hollow... An axe flew from the tree and chopped into it's head. Before it can cry another chopped off it's body in half, it's furry mantibles Jiggling on it's hairry face.

However, the second ettercap noticed and cried it's own cry of death, shrill and warning. A rumble sounded in the deep. It grabbed one of the axes and split it in two before another killed it. Heat'ran almost sighed until he heard a scratching of sand...

He looked down to see a small army of scorpians and a few tarantulas. Leaping from a falling spider, he split it in two, then called out two more axes, the size of knives. They speared the remaining arachnids as he blocked blows. He was aware of a sound of scrabbling from under ground... a group, small or large, is coming...

Is a ettercap a kind of spider? since in danish, spider is "Ederkop". I'm just curious.

For The Loser:

Spoiler :
Gyszel' was an old cattle farming village. When every single cow in the area fell ill to a mysterious illness, the entire village was abandoned.

Now the buidings are empty shells. Presumably everything of interest was taken by those moving to richer areas. Wind whistles through empty towers.

The streets are cracked with weeds poking through. The statue in the square has vines climbing up it, strangling the stone.

It takes a few hours to gather everything of any value from the houses.

Tolkien found:
One pair of trousers
One tiny book of witchcraft
Four small platinum-tipped ironwood longspears
One small grimoire
Twelve very large gilt anklets
Nine candles
Three tiny steel bucklers
One huge statuette
Sixteen very small gilt necklaces with carnelion pendants
Seven huge dark green shells.

These could all be sold to other villages for some profit.

But one thing catches your eye. A dagger. It was locked in a box in what was hidden in what was once the mayor's house. Looking at it, is covered in gold wash. The grip is white leather. Frank knew that he really should get it Appraised. There was bound to be one in any average-sized town.

I will get the dagger Appraised in a nearby town.

"Well, well," Akatas thought as he stared into the dead body of the zombie and the rat he had recently caught using a clever trap. Or so he thought so himself.

He took out his scalpel and began to carve a lump of flesh off the zombie, and began grounding it. "Let's see what this does." He used a tong to pick up a piece of the zombie flesh and fed it to the rat.

Spoiler :
Kragenskull looked around. He spotted a nearby sand sniffer (a small desert creature, whose most distinguishing feature is its long nose), and fired a fireball at it. He made sure that it was enough to kill it, but not enough to destroy the body, which he then resurected. He gave the zombie sniffer some experimental commands. Good, it was under his control. He then instructed it to sniff out where the dragon was, while he continued running around to confuse the dragon, should it be coming after him. Now he would find out where the dragon was really.

This could lead to some joke about Dragonson.

By the way, sorry of my stories aren't very (or any ;)) good.

To Charles Li:

Spoiler :
Heat'ran prepared for the onslaught that was abou to arrive.

The webs over the mouth of the cave seemed to burst opens as ettercaps, spiders and scorpians swarmed towards him.

Now, it is a well-known universal fact that, upon seeing exactly what he has to face, a hero will utter a quip, even if nobody is around to hear him. At least nobody who will be alive by the end of it. This will usually be relevant to the situation and either be very funny or very cheesy. All that can be certain, is that once it is said, it cannot be unsaid.

"Let's squash some bugs."

To Dragonson: Yes, they are humanoid spiders.

To The Loser:

Spoiler :
The Appraiser tells you it is the Dagger of the Angels. It is usually used by those with angelic blood, though anyone can use it. It allows the owner to read minds. The source of its power is the deaths it causes. However, he tells you to be careful, for it prematurely ages the owner.

To Milarqui: No, at least, not at the moment. It wouldn't be fair if I suddenly made it so all of a sudden.

To Seon:

Spoiler :
The rat watched Akatas cautiously while it nibbled at the flesh. After it finished, it paused. It then vomited up the contents of its stomach and scurried away.

"OK," Akatas thought, "that was strange. Were it a conventional zombie, that rat should be dead."

To pi4t:

The dragon had sensed the movments of the small creature. It burst up out of the ground like a geyser, swollowing the thing whole. It then climed high into the sky. At the apex, it spotted Kragenskull and dived toward him.

Pefect!

Spoiler :
Heat'ran tore open his backback, and blew into the flute he cliped onto his helmit. No less than a dozen large axes, and two score smaller ones, flew into the battle. They created a web of metal that can cut through any web of nature, and soon a pile of hairy bodies lain still, as the others retreated up the hill.

However, he was also busy as hundreds of scorpians and spiders burst arround him. He threw a pouch of enchanted metal dust that formed a plating arround his own robes. He chanted as he twirlled his blades, cutting, stabbing and slashing...

Kish kan kattan can
Antron skata scran!

Finally, the the flow stemmed and the creatures seemed to retreat. He stopped the metal blades, half of which are broken or dull, from going in the tunnel and placed them arround him. Then he took a metal ball with a large load of pumped water in it, as well as a few enchanted embers... He chanted 'Brisgra!' and threw the ball in...

As you all know, water turns into steam when heated, when heated instantly, it's effects can be notced in foods as popcorn, well enjoyed in the more open norther part of Gouthieen. However, imagine a metal popcorn, splinteriing in an opening full of spiders and ettercaps discussing a new plan to kill this single attack, imagine the carnage, the gore, the heat and the steam. That is the weapon he through into the hole.

About a half-mile away, a small hill erupted into a volcano of steam and dead, then the dirt fell back down. Looking in he saw the cause of the outbreak: a group of ettercaps started breeding queens that can give birth to more and more eggs, of whom the most fertile was turned into queens again. Although spiders are mostly solitary, in Ettercap hives a few are chosen for almost constant birthing, and eating.

He shrugged and sent a few knives in to lure out the survivers... he hopes that there would be none, and that the spiders would disperse and live a relature normal life in the future...

Haseri, if there is any more, tell me!

to KragenSkull... Those who eat zombies will become disceased in about 10 seconds, then reanimate to the full control of the former zombie in a few hours.

Wrong place. Story coming up shortly.

Spoiler :
At the last minute, Kragenskull dived aside, and the dragon crashed down into the desert. Kragenskull quickly scrambled onto the dragon (he couldn't resist it), and struck one fireball after another towards both of the dragon's weak points. The dragon didn't stand a chance. Kragenskull jumped off as the dragon was engulfed in flame. (whether it was Kragenskull's, or the dragon's own flame was never known. But the question was, could Kragenskull get away?

To Charles Li

Spoiler :
For your troubles you recieve a silvery maul, that has a crude sereis of harsh marks on the grip. It is very ominous.

You also get it Appraised for free. You find out it was forged by mages to be used by a long-dead bloodline. Thankfully, the mages weren't so stupid as to limit its use to others. It can turn good creatures evil and protects the owner from mind control. It is cursed with a deity’s wrath. It causes the owner to always goes for the kill. The source of its power is feelings of sorrow.

Also, I'd imagine a big creature, like a dragon, could eat a small zombified sand sniffer and still go on living.

To pi4t:

Spoiler :
The weak 'shoulder' attaching the wing to the rest of the body couldn't handle the strain of multiple fireballs. They both gave way before the dragon hit the sand. In more pain then it had ever experienced, it stopped being intelligent and started acting on instinct. Instinct told it to avoid the ground, to get away from the souce of pain. However, there were two problems with this: The source of its agaony was on its back, and it didn't have use of its wings anymore.

Kragenskull jumped off of its back. It lay there, panting heavily. Dragons weren't cold-blooded, and sand dragons used their wings both to fly and to regulate their tempreture, by drawing blood there. With the wings, it would over-heat in days. Krragenskull could put it out of its misery, or he could leave it. It would eventually burrow back into the sand, but death would still come sooner then it would have liked.

I, Frank Tolkien will contact and take the quest of the Gouthieen Queen.

The dagger will be kept safe while taking on the quest.

The Queen doesn't have a quest. Quests below the lines where the nation names are in bold are just ones that the nations think are important, and may have more dire consequences if not completed.

Spoiler :
Kragenskull aimed and fired a fireball at the dragon's other weak point (Haseri, please don't reveal this one, just talk about 'the weak point':p) The dragon fell, dead, as Kragenskull absorbed some of its life force for shapechanging purposes. He then cut off the dragon's head, stuffed it in his pack, and began the long walk back to Thild to collect his reward. From there, he planned to head towards Gothieen, and investigate a series of caves on the border

Can I have a list of creatures I can change into on my character sheet please? At present it would say

sand sniffer, dragon

I don't think you can metamorph into a dragon just yet. That needs a spell

See my character sheet - I can do it, but only once per kill, and only for one minute each :)
