Willpax, fwiw that sounds about right to me. Our break conveniently fell during some busy RL time for me as well, but glad to get back into it now.
OK--the mopping up against Mao proceeded very quickly (one city per turn), which was good, because our economy was one city razing away from collapse the whole time. In 1676, the Chinese were destroyed, and I immediately switched to universal suffrage and emancipation to deal with unhappiness issues, relieve ourselves of a crushing maintenance burden for 3 turns, speed the building of the palace, and help with righting our economy before taking on Liz.
On the next turn, Ghandi shows up and offers to become our vassal, completely voluntarily. I think he doesn't want to become the next target for the mighty cossacks. Having already made one major move with the civics change, I thought I would give a brief window for consultation (and hope that the approaching storm doesn't knock out power briefly). I don't see the down side, but maintenance costs have been an issue. If y'all check in this afternoon, what do you think? Should we accept Ghandi's offer to become our vassal?
I was gone camping this weekend, I will be able to get this done by tuesday, is that okay?
Aoxo
Works for me, but you'll probably have to skip my next turn as I'll be leaving Wednesday afternoon to go camping until Sunday.
Hej Guys.
I have great news, my daughter is back home since friday afternoon. Last weeks will be remembered, as it's a daddy's worst nightmare to have a sick child. I hope she will be soon the frisky girl she used to be.
Thanks for your support,
