Macs have only one mouse button, how do I contact other civs?

Hi,

I tried finding the solution to this in the forum archives but with no luck. So I finally went through the hassle of creating a profile.

My question is this. I bought Civ4 and installed it on my macbook. It plays fine, but in the diplomacy screen I can not contact any of the other civs!! I know how to do it on the pc, but obviously with the mac I only have one mouse button and NO instructions from aspyr as to how to do this. Can someone point me to the right thread or inform me how to ameliorate this situation? I am getting pretty tired of having to wait for other civs to contact me before I can make a deal with them. Thank you.

HI, welcome

If you have a modern MacBook then you can configure it to have two mouse buttons. Check the Mouse options in the System Preferences.

Alternatively, click with the Control button to right click.

Or put two fingers on the trackpad and without picking them up, click the button--that's also a right-click.

Another option is on the same preference screen where you select full screen or window mode, you can check the box to have command-click be the same as control-click and right click.
