Mad Scientist's RPC summary

For Land Lubber Hannibal you should worldbuild the free fishing tech away from you so you can enjoy having unworkable water tiles well into the industrial era.

For Land Lubber Hannibal, do you intend to only disallow coastal cities or will you only allow cities that do not have any coastal tiles in their BFC to ensure that no citizens can work on sea tiles? Also, how will Han discover the other continent-unless you intend to have the land bridge added when you meet the 1st AI caravel (or another AI unit from the other landmass).

I would think Hannibal can settle 1 tile off the coast but cannot work the sea. In brief, if I could build a Cothon I cannot settle (or keep) the city.

Regarding the other contnent, well I think I can wait until they find us! Once I meet the other continent I will add the land bridge.

Good idea! Perhaps I will swap out fishing for agriculture and avoid the sea all together.

The question is what techs do I lose if I avoid Fishing altogether? I think it's fishing/sailing/calendar/optics/astronomy/physics. That may be a littel harsh but I have time to decide.

Yeah, eventually you're going to have to get it to carry on in the tech tree. Delaying it until scientific method though will probably be acceptable, lack of calendar will probably be the biggest issue.

In a little Preparation for the final Khan game (there are three RPCs before this), I decided it will be a conquest only game on a Pangea map. I plan to handpick 18 leaders, all of which have been my nemesis in past RPCs and cause of our downfall, or at least a very fdifficult game.

Here are some I already know will be there and why. Suggest away, just remember they have had to affected an RPC adversely.

SHaka: Let's see, Gandhi II, Charles I, Peter I (OK, shat am I missing)
Monty: That Chessy AP win in the second Hammurabi game
Ragnar: Julius I, Louis, Al II
Pericles: Toku's downfall
Hyuna: Overrunning Shaka I.
Sal: Mao I, Gilgamesh
Boudica: Washington
Hatshepsup: Fred
Cyrus of Khmer: Or Orange Sury who didn't die fast enough.

Others have come very close to defeating us

Mansa: Willem
Tokugawa: Pericles
Willem: Mao II

Honorable mentions

Justiniain: For declaring war on us in the Darius game and voting us an AP diplo win the next turn.
Isabella: For assorted Zealotship and really causing Churchill to launch a Nuclear war.

Of course new villians may enter in the last three RPCs. Just want to see if I am missing anyone who deserves a littel payback.

i'd say Sury for his insanity duing the sury game ...

haven't Zara been a mayor pain at some point? ... i seem to remember him being but i can't remember in which game :p

He is a major pain in alot of my off-line games but I cannot remember an RPC where he was a problem.

Sury will be represented by Cyrus of the Khmer, as a tribute because Orange Sury had Cyrus's personality trait that game.

Don't forget Napoleon! He may never have been your nemesis, but he was a pain in a lot of RPCs.

I know you want to do a Pangaea map as your final game, but how about a Terra where most of the 18 AIs are placed in the old world but the new world is populated by Surys?

Not a bad idea, something to consider.

With what you've had to deal with Shaka, just play a big pangaea with 17 Shakas, of different civs (since 17 opponents with impis would suck for playing with Keshiks).

To expand the above ideas...

All leaders will be Shaka. However, the civs will be varied. The Shakas in the old world will be based on civs you want to get revenge on. The Shakas in the new world, however, will be Khmers, all of them.

Would make for an interesting game.

I think one Shaka is more than enough. Also Other AIs have certainly been as big of pain such as Ragnar and Saladin.

I really like the idea of all your nemeses in the old world, and Survivormen in the new world. Three or four would be a good number of them.

Ok, that's fine.

Either way, looking forward to the last few RPCs!!

PLEASE! NO MORE SURYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I STILL HAVE A BIT OF A MIGRAINE from the 1st one!!!!!

I sort of agree! Cyrus will be fine enough.
