Non isolated isolationist game could be a good idea.
Wang Kon is actually one of my favorite leaders, coupled with the Korean UB.
Wang Kon, the Non-Isolated Isolationist! I like it! Hemispheres or Pangea map.

I like the idea of multiple victory condition met at the end, within reason. I would say getting a culture win, with the spaceship in flight, 60% of teh population, control of the Ap and UN, and 50% of the land. Now which leader.
the greater good
Have you done a wonderless game yet?
Most players have tried it, but I can't remember if there is an RPC based on no wonders.
Rules:
No wonders being able to be built, or corporations founded (Shrines are OK, if you founded the religion)
No one else can have them either, must raze every city with a wonder, a corporate HQ, or a shrine of a minor religion
Every wonder should be destroyed. (Hollywood, U.N. and Space Elevator are exceptions, since they come so late)
Shrines and HQs do not have to all be destroyed, but it helps
No idea what leader goes along with it.
Also, I think Gilgamesh deserves a great idea. He is (According to Sumerian texts) half-god, and he has the coolest leaderhead in the game.![]()
Gilgamesh could be a forced spy game. He gets early courthouses with Priesthood, so you could force him to get all his techs after Priesthood/Alphabet from spying. No Libraries, Universities etc Science slider to 0% after researching both Alphabet and Priesthood.
How about Mehmed along the real life lines?
Set civs:
Rome - Mehmed wanted to reunite the eastern roman empire.
Byzantine - Constantinople. Nuff said.
Mongols - Mehmed allied himself with the Golden Horde in the Crimea.
Rules:
- Must adopt the Islamic faith. If founded by another civ, must control islamic holy city by end of the game.
- Must try to maintain good relations with Mongols and seek defensive pact.
- Must hold Rome by the end of the game.
- Must eliminate Byzantine Empire.
Victory conditions: Any. For a challenge, AP victory under Islam would be the ultimate.
Mehmed II (I have no idea what a good title would be)
Mehmed holds a strong hatred towards the Byzantines. He wishes to destroy them. However, he is also envious, and secretly wishes to own the city of Constantinople, and not raze it to the ground as he has said to his fellow Ottomans.
Rules:
You must take over Constantinople
You must then rename your capital to something else, and rename Constantinople, Istanbul
You must eventually (but not immediately) change your capital to Istanbul (Constantinople)
You must also wipe out the Byzantines entirely
Heh, I had a similar idea.
Mehmed the Meh is good too, though.
Sorry N, didn't read that far back and was firing from the hip. Your version might be a bit easy though, no? Even on Emperor....once chance starting point and an axe rush later and he's met the conditions, no? Now, if he wasnt allowed to do it until the 1400's...
Can we just request a sticky for this? I had to really hunt for it...
both? A team game with mad maybe?(If time zones don't screw it over)
Maybe with different limitations on both sides
Just playing with thought.
