MadV6- The Environmentalists

Variant- We're environmentalists so we can't: build military*, chop trees, build factories, and have Metropolises. All we can do is plant forests. There's also going to be limited** mining, and irrigation. Though we can chop jungles and marsh, we can't clear marsh with an animal in it (game and fish).

* We can only build our UU
** We'll dicuss this later

ohhh this might be tough! you realize that later on in the game we wont be able to defend ourselfs with mounted warriors... but heck i resently had 4 sgs completed sooooo ill join if its alright.

EDIT: do size 12 capital count as a metropolis because it looks like one even though it technically isnt?

Metropolises cause pollution, we cant have pollution. But the capital doesent produce pollution because you would have it in the Middle Ages and possibly in the ancient age, wouldnt THAT be a bummer.

EDIT: By the way, can we have at least defensive? Like, I mean spearman, they dont harm nature, they use spears, unlike Musketman.

It's gonna be REAL hard to build units after you get to Chivalry or MT and have your golden age. Although they're both optional techs and you could skip them. (Not signing up, just commenting.)

lurker's comment: Might I suggest you take anothe civ with another UU ? The MW comes a bit early; perhaps Japan would be much more versatile and useful for a single unit game.

id say the netherlands their UU has the defense of a musketman and i also suggest achi for the map so that we can fortify our borders so noone can invade.

The Dutch are European, and those dudes seem to care about the enviro more than us industrial and evil Americans. Also, the Dutch aren't industrious, and agri is environmental, one could argue.

Environmentalist John Lennon of the Hyppies, Monarch, Large 80% Pangea. Everyone else random. Being 80%, this should feel like a standard map size for IT lenghts and be more refreshing and fun for a diplo than one such.
