I disagree on Marcher. That post may have been nominally "alright" but as a body of work it is too much like his wolf performance last game. This isn't a locked in and riding to EoD vote necessarily, but it is serious. The one post at each end of the early nonsense doesn't seem like happy go lucky v!Marcher to me at all.

Pizza I sort of liked the stream of consciousness pass through.

Ace had massive ____post volume. Never seen him wolf, but this was typical v!Ace and I think he would be an uncomfortable wolf and it would show.

Hollowkatt had some volume but no substance. No smell of wolf on him yet but he's not easy to sniff out.

Takhisis was typically null, but maybe a little more solvey interest than usual showing around the edges.

Bianca seems...BIanca. For those who don't know Bianca this may not sound like an actual read, but it really is. Like Ace, I've never seen her wolf but it seems like if she were wolfing it would show up.

Bunch of peeps with either a minimal amount of ___posting or outright no appearance of note yet.



TGT had ____post volume plus did some prodding, but some of his prodding was sort of off balance to me. Not sure if that was due to alien environment or motives.

Why don't I get a read?

This is my first game with ATPG, the legend. A lot of posts with no multi-quoting, and no reasoning for reads. Is this... his meta? I mean, I guess I should be happy since I'm the towniest town to ever town (you are the first to ever think such a thing, ATPG), but maybe that's a trap and I should be worried.

I really hope the posting slows down a little from here on out.

My "real" reads: MJ is being non-solve-y, just like last game, in which he randed wolf. Maybe NAI, but he's usually more chatty even within the confines of spam.

Dolbster is pretty much standard fare Dolby right now. He isn't reading spam and trying to stick to "real" posts, which is understandably difficult and limited right now. Could be "let town eat itself" syndrome, although my experience with Dolby's wolfing is that he likes to be in the driver's seat.

Tim, Bianca, and Ace are typical, no deviation from the norm. Too early to assume alignment. Except Tim, Tim is always wolf, unless he's acting wolfy, then he's town.

I can't read any of the newbies. TBH I kind of suss Shad's "whoa this is a new community, is everyone being serious?" thing because almost none of the posts have had the dry sarcasm we tend to whip out in later days. Although maybe it's their master plan of getting us to be serious, which would be clever. And also a failure.

Takh has made more of an appearance. This is. Good. I guess.

Pzelda hasn't shown up. The nullest null. I think everyone else has made at least one post. (Laurentus?)

LA showed up in the beginning, now gone. Same as last game, NAI. I guess town?

We're less than 24 hours in, still have over 24 hours to go for D1. That's the best list I can give you.

ok, replace too cheap with "have better things to do with my money and also only really play Dark Souls games and Racing Games so I don't really care much" lol

For people who are new to me, I like to find townies early, then change focus to finding wolves once I've started to put together a town core.

I find that makes life much harder for the wolves when there's a core of people who have established some amount of trust among each other. What's making my life harder is that there's still very little actual game to look at, it's mostly food or civ talk mixed in with a few game type posts.

What makes you so sure HK didn't get it from me? In my first game with him HK was a wolf hunting hero that grabbed a "wolf" by the tail over one bad post like six hours into the game. That wolf turned into a vicious tunnel rat towny and tore HKs arms off and beat him over the head with them for the entire rest of the game. Now HK looks for townies first. Seems wise.

Ok, to me Ace seems stuck in shitpost mode? Like there's functionally nothing real going on with their posts that I can tell. If it's the same Ace from MU (which I think it is) I've been in a game with them before (and yes that game has finished) and they were just kinda oozing town from every post they made. Not seeing that here... yet.

Probably the way to find Ace wolf is if they aren't obvs town?

I'm going to have to take your word on the Civ regulars that I'm not familiar with, but generally agree that if they're wolfy it'll eventually become clear.

Does Marcher drop a post like that and just peace out often? I'll add some pressure there, see if maybe they make more better posts

You managed to put something forward on me (while also presenting the idea that the only person who merits distrust in the aftermath of Franklin is me...take responsibility man!) and your vote is lingering on HK.
