Mafia/NOTW Statistics

I'm fine with that definition. There might be a couple of exceptions (like if a Reviver exists, for instance, or in ATPG's Monty Python game where Pinman could vote while dead), but that's generally what I'd consider dead.

If that's the case, then the "dead" in ATPG's game are also dead. You could still speak, yes, but the dead can do that in many games.

exactly my opinion. There is, IMO, no 'perfect' definition with resurrections and other such things...
and 'dead' were dead enough. Only not for write-up/story purposes

Of course there are things like that that don't fit, but I'll try to keep as close to that definition as possible, even if there are multiple levels of "dead", like in NOTW 35, where there were not-quite-but-basically-dead shades.

So, just to make this clear: I should count them as "dead", correct?

Of course, the "dead" should be counted as "dead" and the Dead as Dead. Easy.

In which case the statistics for that game are:

Won: 33 (Renata, taillesskangaru, Camikaze, Yoshiegg737, The Bake, mgsmuhammed, Red_Spy, CivGeneral, robbiecon, Winston Hughes, NarutoAvatarDBZ, Seon, Autolycus, Takhisis, Mechaerik, Arakhor, BSmith, GamezRule, Skwink Caesar, choxorn, classical_hero, Earthling, General Olaf, Zack, Darth Caesar, Bestrfcplayer, civplayah, Johnhughthom, Save_Ferris, landlubber, Nictel, Kennigit, Joecoolyo)

Lost: 2 (Romanichine, Jarrema)

Town: 33 (Renata, taillesskangaru, Camikaze, Yoshiegg737, The Bake, mgsmuhammed, Red_Spy, CivGeneral, robbiecon, Winston Hughes, NarutoAvatarDBZ, Seon, Autolycus, Takhisis, Mechaerik, Arakhor, BSmith, GamezRule, Skwink Caesar, choxorn, classical_hero, Earthling, General Olaf, Zack, Darth Caesar, Bestrfcplayer, civplayah, Johnhughthom, Save_Ferris, landlubber, Nictel, Kennigit, Neverwonagame3)

Neutral: 1 (Joecoolyo)

Mafia: 2 (Romanichine, Jarrema)

WoG'ed: 1 (Neverwonagame3)

Survived: 4 (Renata, taillesskangaru, Camikaze, Yoshiegg737)

I'd count them as a mafia. Or else, as town #2, like in Zack's crossover game.

I do not think they were mafia (and which ones? there were two identical halves of town). It is town #2 if there could be such category

Well, the Blue Town and the Red Town were basically the same, so I have to count them both as the same alignment.

Maybe I should count everyone as Neutral?

Personaly, I do not like counting them as neutrals, but its only my opinion. IMO they were town altogether, but opinion of someone else would be helpful

Well, I can either count both of the towns as town, split be damned, and the mafia as mafia. Or I can count the mafia as mafia and the town as neutral. Or I can count everyone is neutral. It depends on how the split town works.

This is one of those times I wish Roman was still around to tell me how he dealt with these things.

Count the two towns as towns. They're uninformed majorities, one with a PG to destroy the other. Or something.

It was explicitly stated that they could only win by killing each other at the start of the game, unless Jarrema is a liar. :p

Town2, we should have that distinction for when there's more than one town.

never as a host

agreed. (btw, I plan more games with 2 towns)

So, both towns as town and the mafia as mafia?

yes! please!

Alright then:

Won: 2 (Kennigit, Landlubber)

Lost: 8 (Civplayah, Bestrfcplayer, Gamezrule, Redspy, Skwink, Mechaerik, CivGeneral, Camikaze)

Town: 8 (Civplayah, Bestrfcplayer, Gamezrule, Redspy, Skwink, Mechaerik, CivGeneral, Camikaze)

Mafia: 2 (Kennigit, Landlubber)

Survived: 4 (Kennigit, Landlubber, Skwink, bestrfcplayer)
