Lightbulb Joke 1
"How many MCs [MIM comrades] does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

One.

What?

Yeah. Just one to hold the lightbulb and three to make world revolution."

Lightbulb Joke 2
"Question:
How many MIM comrades does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

Answer:
That's a pig question.

[The joke is a dig at MIM's line on security and giving
out information on people persynally. See, e.g.,
MIM's FAQ on security.]"

Lightbulb joke 3
Question:
How many MIM comrades does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

Answer:
Changing the lightbulb would be reformist. We want to change the whole light fixture.

[The joke is a dig at MIM's line in favor of revolution.]

Their Movie and Video Game Reviews are priceless gems of unintentional comedy:http://www.etext.org/Politics/MIM/bookstore/index.html#M

[It's criticism of MIM as deluded.]

This web page is amazing. The video game reviews could have been written by Commie #4522.

from the site said:
Maoists won't like the extreme (however adjustable) amount of violence that exists in this depressing and decayed post-capitalist world. [Sadly, the violence is even a selling-point of the game: "Victims don't just perish--they get out in half, melt into a pile of goo, and explode into chunks of flesh. Yuck!!" reads the promotional webpage.] But there is a great deal of interest to a Maoist in this game, once she knows where to look:
-Racism
-Exploitation
-War and militarism
-Resources and modes of production
-Government types
-Religion as a scam
-Bourgeois psychology and human experimentation
-Prison and slavery
-The U.$ government

No, it couldn't have been written by Commie (see bolded part).

Oh yeah . . .

It's like the Christian fundamentalists who rate video games. Civ3 gets good marks, but they take away points for having the earth be between 3 and 5 billion years old, and for the Theory of Evolution advancing science.

You mean FranciscoHernan right?

*looks sad but eager*

Oh, whoops. Thought he posted a similar link from a different website. Didn't realize it was the same one. :crazyeye:

I grant you the right to splat me with a cold fish.

It may interest people to know that I wrote some of the Video Game reviews:
under the pseudonym Big Jim
Why?
I was bored

Perfection.. once again you have outdone yourself.
