Besides, what's the point of lynching remake, no matter what I think of him? In 2-3 days we will know for sure about him. Let me explain.

If Remake is a martian, he will of course be alive by Day 4.

If Remake is innocent, then the martians would take a big risk to let him live because he would have 3 attempts at finding one of them.

In a nutshell, the martians cannot afford the risk of letting Remake live, so if he's still alive by day 4, we will lynch him. What we don't want to do is lynch a possible scanner immediately because he could possibly be lying. Let's not make it easier for the martians.

And no, I don't think remake is suspicious for role revealing like he did, because the rules were very unclear and that's the point I was trying to make yesterday. It was nothing close of "WTH Remake is not lynched, this is so frustrating!".

And I didn't vote for Remake today because of a) the above strategy of letting the scanner live is how we should approach a situation like this. It is a lot better than an immediate lynch (because we could kill a scanner) and better than blindly believing him just because he claimed.
And b) Roleclaiming when the tally is 5-3 for you isn't so out of place, although there's a better way to approach this, as others already pointed out. This is a null tell for me, some players will roleclaim in thread while others will try to be more stealthy.

How does finding if people are innocent help the mafia? They don't care people's alignment when they kill (usually). I can't find out if they are power roles which may help the mafia, but their alignment really doesn't. Anyway Roman.

I am guessing you havn't played as mafia much. Mafia do not just simply kill random people. Each target should be calculated, some people are better targets than other for various reasons including participation and confirmation of innocence.

It is the reason why I am accusing you. I was previosuly going to highlight that the other accusations (about you wanting remake lynched) that the others have produced are not very sound but thought better of it untill I got better clarification from my source. (which i havn't yet)


So just for clarification for you so that you may address it. I am accusing you because I believe that you have been scanned and been found as a 'threat to this nation (america)'

My vote stay place for two reasons.

1) If you are guilty then great, if you are innocent your death will most likely reveal the guilt of your accuser.

2) there is noone really that is better except perhaps a lurker

Well things are certainly going well for a first day! Sprig it sounds like you are suddenly getting all the secret contacts i hope you have set it up so it doesn't all fall apart if you are murdered on another night... especially if you are trying to play information blackout on us.

Arakhor why do you think Sprig could be a martian spy? I thought mafia couldn't attack mafia... unless there are multiple factions... but i don't get what that could be. When we have martians and humans who else could be involved?

Just to let you guys know though, all this arguement over Ronanichine is making it very easy for players to lurk making it harder to find martians.

Last question... why did landlubber vote Remake with no posted reasons or comments... (this is just a vote to get an answer)

I have given a suggestion, based on my interpretation of the events. I could postulate that Spring was targeted by the Mafia, even as a Mafia, because they knew he would be protected, but that's utter speculation. I have no idea if there are multiple groups of mafia. I could also be completely wrong and Sprig is absolutely on the level and accurate about everything he says.

Thats a bold accusation if I ever saw one but certainly a welcomed one. Not even I should be instantly trusted this early in the game. I very much love debate and accusations, it makes it harder for mafia to hide.

But I would hazard a guess that you have not followed the thread carefully. There are a few clever individuals who have worked out who I am, including a mafia group who attacked me night 1.

For the sake of clarity, perhaps it is better that I elaborate for you because you either don't get it or you are pulling a nice wifom.

1. Where have I confirmed Remake is innocent and Romanichine is guilty? I am not a scanner therefore I personally cannot confirm innocence or guilt. All I can say and all I have said is that a few people have claimed they are a prophet/scanner to me and that shared their results. I have then publically shared their results to keep the scanners identity secret.

2. As I have explained above, we have an interesting scenario (which btw is very helpful for us innocents) which has only two possible outcomes.

a. Roman is lynched and found to be guilty - yay for us good guys
b. Roman is lynched and found to be innocent - scanner claiming him guilty is either a false prophet/scanner or deliberately lying ergo Mafia.​

Also I can assure you that due to the completely bizarre series of events that happened last night, even if Roman is found to be innocent, it will have certain unpleasant ramifications for the mafia.

A fair few, the trick will be to keep them together and and filter out any mafia that try to sneak in. Unfortunatly it will take a few days to setup due the need scan people. Lets hope I can survive that long!
