Hey everyone! I was asleep for game days 1 and 2 apparently, so I couldn't possibly be a killer.
Now, let's get down to business. I noticed that when people were speculating about why Remake survived through the night that no one thought that the Martians would have assumed that an outed investigator would be protected. There may also have been a roleblocker that stopped a Martian from killing him. Of course, we won't know for sure until the end of the game, but I'm inclined to believe my first idea. My only reason for believing this is that if I were a mafia, I probably wouldn't have risked wasting a night kill on someone that people are suspicious of.
Now, regarding whether remake really is an investigator: I think he is. Based on his posts, he seems to be an inexperienced townie; not a Martian.
I believe that Sprig is on our side. The idea of the Martians having a protector and then using this protector to save one of their own members from their own attack is just too far-fetched for me to buy.
That's all I can think to say for now. I won't be voting yet. If there's anything that I need to weigh in on, then let me know.
Just for everybodies reference. Roman revealed to a few people about his character. Since I am the only one that can safetly reveal it without revealing themself, I will disclose it here. I don't know who else he revealed it too but most likely his partner and whoever he/they scanned on night 1.
Roman claimed to be a mason, he and his partner were trying to find a person called Barbara. It is likely that his partner was Tom Jones or Byron Williams.
It is possible that one of Tom or Bryon is also mason partner with Barbara. Also i note that during the movie Byron Williams beat the crap out of a Martian so may be a valuable ally for us town.
Roman also claimed that he was a type of prophet. (yes that now makes the prophet count 5 :s) He could scan a person each night to see if they were Barbara. Also if he happened to scan a person that was Martian then he would die.
Also in the interests of infomation disclosure.
One of the prophets (the one that accused Romanachie) has been more or less confirmed as a false prophet. His scan result last night reveal another person as a threat to this nation. However his target had already be cleared by another prophet.
It's all a bit funny really, tbh I wonder what he is thinking accusing the only person defending him. but he is within is right i guess.
But the point is: what does he have to defend himself against? Basically the accusation against him is thus:
I don't believe he is a prophet also I don't believe Sprig in saying that he has been scanned innocent twice.
There is no way remake can defend against that, he can publiclly reveal his scan but that helps provide a valid target for the martians and doesn;t satisfy the accusation against him since the basis of the accusation is that he is not a real prophet.
What it does show is that those voting for him are appearing very scummy.
There's still an horrendous amount of "I said so and you can believe me, honest!" going on here. I'm interested to hear what Link has to say for himself.
