I am. That's very odd, as I'm sure I committed the files. I'll double check.

Hmm, yeah, just updated the folder and the turnlist file says it's my turn. Odd that. I'll re-commit the correct files now.

EDIT: committed the updated files.

The order will be unchanged from before (recalc cannot impact the ordering). Obviously that means there is always one opportunity for the barbs to play between your previous turn and the current one (or the current and next). Assuming the upgrade was done by the first person in the turn (as I believe it was) then the barbs will have run their turn on the OLD code and you will be playing on the new system before they will.

Thanks Koshling, I hope you're right

You're right, it was on a limbo state, exactly after I passed the turn and paused by me :crazyeye:

I tried again, see if it's correct this time.

This Limbo state happened again. I loaded the game, it asked for my password and then it simply loaded my turn just after I hit the End Turn Button. It told me which buildings got completed and it even asked me to choose some more, but all my units aren't allowed to move, and anything I choose to build in my cities does not appear in the list.

This time I'm sure I passed the turn and then realized I had forgotten to do something, so I went back to the save and redid my turn. I believe that's exactly what happened the previous time. When doing this, you're asked to overwrite the save you already have, as soon as you pass the turn, because both have the same name.

I believe you can't overwrite the save on the C2C pbem folder, or else this Limbo State happens. I'll delete the file, get my turn done again and send the new save.

Yes since the older version alberts2 had made a revision to how the turns were calculated for dates.

After the red-button has been hit, if you don't exit the game right away that's fine - just DON'T save again or it will save the game in the paused status and the only fix I'm aware of is to replay the turn entirely.

We've had quite a rash of players running into this in this particular round, perhaps due to wanting to further review what's been taking place since the fileset update.

I see, I supposed this would happen, but I never tried it. However, that isn't what happened here.

What happened this time (and the last one that I quoted) isn't exactly this. I didn't save after pressing the red button.

I have pressed the red button, which generated a save file as normal, and then I realized I had forgotten something.

So I went back to main menu, loaded the turn prior to pushing the red button, then I did what I had forgotten and pressed the red button again.

It said the save was in my folder, and I was supposed to send it to Hydro, just like before. Upon hitting OK, it gave me the warning: Another file with this same name already exists, do you wish to overwrite it?

Naturally I pressed ok.

It seems when you do this, it saves the game on this Limbo State instead of normally. That's exactly what happened last time, but I wasn't sure if I remembered correctly what had happened at that time, so I dismissed any thougths on it and simply deleted the file from my C2C PBEM folder, redid my turn, and pressed the red button to generate the save, which I then sent to SVN and it worked normally.

Upon happening again this time, I did the same thing as before and it worked. So I realized it has to be this overwriting issue that causes this.

So you can't have a savefile with the same name as the one the PBEM generates upon pressing the red button, because the same name warning will trigger, and upon hitting to overwrite the save, you create a save file in the Limbo State.

I'm about to take my turn. Should I use the UserSettings folder from C2C MP\Save+TurnList\US MP game2 saves\UserSettings? Or just the one from C2C MP\C2C MP\UserSettings? I've re-exported the mod and copied it over to my Mods folder.

I just used the one that came with the new mod. It sounded to me like Thunderbrd was going to adjust that one to reflect the needed settings, though he never actually said that he did that. Hmm, guess I shouldn't have made an assumption. So Thunderbrd, did you adjust it?

It actually SHOULD be the same thing. However, tell you what, just to ensure that it IS, use the UserSettings one in the US MP game2 saves and we should all, with our next turn, ensure that we go ahead and do the same.

I didn't adjust it at all but rather used the one that was already in the old UserSettings I had in my fileset. I BELIEVE it's one and the same.

I'm done with my turn. I figured out that I had to completely delete my previous backup copy of the mod before exporting to it, or I would get flagged for an XML error (BODY_EXCHANGE was missing). I also noticed that two of my cities showed up as having just finished Lily Farms when they had built Rope Weaver's Huts at the end of the previous turn. I was not asked to recalculate, so I think I did the update correctly.

Others have reported similar mis-reporting but all that encountered it say the correct buildings/units were built or trained. It seems to clear up after the first round.

Well I've been an idiot for the last few days. I've been so wrapped up in modding that I've been forgetting to get Whisperr to take her turn. But it's now taken and Koshling is up. My apologies for the delay.
