I have seen no animals!

You are in the southern hemisphere, probably close to the pole and where Africa and Oceania is on the earth map. I have fixed many of the spawns for animals for this region but I think that was in a later version of C2C than you are playing here. The problem is that there is no land in that area on Earth so the Earth spawn ranges don't go that far south in those regions.

The problem was that land in the southern hemisphere from 60 west to 180 east does not exist from about 45-75 degrees south so there are no animals to spawn. I had to extend the range of the African, Australian and New Zealand animals southwards to fill this gap.

If you have desert to the south of you then you are not in the animal free zone. You must just be unlucky, unless the version of the mod you are playing on is from before we added the South American animals.

@Padams - suggest you WAIT for your next turn until AFTER I update the SVN to V28 (which will be after my next turn in the OTHER game), but I'll post here when I do to clarify.

You can equally upgrade via the V28 release download rather than wait for the SVN if you prefer, once it's out.
