Turn Taken. Unfortunately, my system will only allow me to update to the svn now, and struggled with that. With no status bar, the 20 minutes I've spent here trying to upload this save file is simply too much and my wife is stamping her foot to go get some things done! sorry

Ok my turn should be done in 20 minutes...

I have one major problem however that's been annoying me since the game has started. Every time I start my turn it says "should the modifiers be recalculated". I have to click yes, wait 5 seconds, click yes again, wait 5 seconds over and over for about 6 times which takes 30 seconds. I am sick of this issue. Does anyone know what's going on?

Edit: my turn is done and I've found a sign of someone. Sadly this is the most exciting thing in my lets play so far basically I've found a tribal village that has been "collected" meaning that someone has been there before me!

I don't think you should have recalculated. As far as I know we have not updated the mod. Are you using the correct mod?

lurker's comment: Just saw this, cool idea. Read through the story summaries, which definitely adds to it from a non-player perspective. Looking forward to seeing the next parts of the story, whenever that may be.

Haven't decided yet who I'm rooting for. But no one's convinced me to root against them either!

When we updated to v28 did you have any issues like this, was this when the recalcs started?

Or did you update to v28 at all when Koshling put out the notice to do so?

This is most likely an indication that SOMEONE did not update to the same version. However, it's not possible to say who. Just say 'no' would be my advice. Everyone should check the version is reported as V28. When you hover over the flag it should tell you its V28 official, and a line or two later that the rev is 4664.

@Thunderbrd: No problem, we all have issues from time to time.

As to 12padams, he states it's been happening since turn zero (not his exact wording). If he's being accurate, then it sounds to me like he's been using the wrong version of the game all along.
